If a NT says, "NT folks, I am going to be at the bar" I don't need to give him a heads up that I am coming. It isn't RUDE if I am showing up when the public invite was put out there.

There is no "normally."

He has invited me to places when I was out of town, when I had previous plans, and a few times I just didn't feel like coming back to that side of town.

I always feel bad because he probably thinks I am being rude.
