Yeah it's mainly pie filling I think. But it's filling they actually make opposed to filling in a store bought turnover. You can never go wrong with the caramel dip.

Yep no cheese. I’m really not a big fan of cheese except on certain items like pizza and nachos. On some burgers but not all. For example if I have to get McDs, I don’t mind cheese on the Big Mac but I hate it on the quarter pounder.

Oh didn't know that's how this started.
I had the Popeyes sandwich and I don't think it NEEDS sauce, but the sauce certainly elevates it.

I was just thinking about this last night. How majority of people say Popeyes chicken sandwich is bomb but I feel it’s not and kinda bland. Is it because I asked for really light sauce and everyone thinks it’s good cuz it’s drenched in sauce?
I agree with @titang545 if it really needs a lot of condiments or sauce then it’s not a good meal. I’m not against sauce, I just think a little to taste it is enough because too much covers up all the other flavors.

I'm usually a sauceboi, but I had a burger from Hard Times Sundaes/Andrew's Roadside burger which refuses to add condiments/sauces and it was really good. Then again, the buns were buttered, the patties were super juicy, and the caramelized onions were almost at the consistency of a jam.
Sandwiches need some sort of wetness in most cases. Doesn't matter if it's from a sauce or another sandwich component.

Yea it’s legit. I would Bart from SF to there just to get a sandwich then back to SF. Still worth it since FiDi food is over priced and weak.

$11.25 IS high though. That's a mix of the burger being marginally bigger than similar competitors and NYC pricing.
Would buy again, but wouldn't make a habit of it.

If I were to put a sauce on this, it'd probably be something creamier that had some spice/horseradish. I like the ketchup/mustard on more "classic" burgers, but the caramelized onions work better with something rich and creamy.
I added pickles to that burger, if that matters.
