I always eat beans man. I usually make a pot on Sundays and go through them by time the end of the week rolls around.

Ya. It's not an actual deal they run. The daughter was gonna give me 2 legs then the mom walked in as she was prepping my plate. Told her give me another piece. The mom loves me cuz I always show love and big her up.

Their lunch special is where it's at though. 4.99 for what's pretty much a small at most places. I'd guess they're doing ok though, they recently opened a second location.

Booked a cooking class at Sur La Table this past Saturday. Fun date night activity.

• Steak Tagliata w/ arugula and fried capers
• Bucatini w/ sweet corn and basil
• Shaved fennel and pecorino salad
• “Perfect pie dough”
• Plum and blackberry crostata

Everything turned out delicious. I was most proud of the crostata. First time making dough from scratch and it was perfect. So flaky
