FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Puesto
La Jolla, San Diego

Filet Mignon, Maine Lobster, and Tamarindo Shrimp tacos.

Really good. Creative without straying too far from tasting authentic. Also, the cilantro margarita in the background was great.

Hit up Salud in Barrio Logan too.
Kind of a toss up between the two spots.

3 Al Pastor Tacos at a taco truck called Tacos Los Guichos. The trucked is owned by my homies folks. Best Al Pastor I’ve had to this date. Nothing has beat it since the first time I been there. Also, if the Al Pastor not coming off the wheel, I don’t want it

Al Pastor with onions, cilantro and salsa last night at like 1am

French Tost, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon from “Home” in Los Feliz. My French toast was pretty weak but the lady who ordered next to me must’ve got the good batch  Bacon was fire tho

Yardbird is trash. I see you ridge hill.

My daughters mac and cheese was good. But the rest? Uggh. Even my mojito was light sauce

never spent so long looking at a menu and wanted nothing.
