FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Balling out tonight for my girl's birthday. Definitely getting the porterhouse for two and some oysters, but not sure about what else. Suggestions appreciated:

Hope you guys have an awesome night!
Where is this located? Those prices aren’t bad at all.

Do yall ORDER salads at restaurants that don't automatically come as a potential side?

Not sure if I ever have. (Under Those conditions)

Do you mean order the salad extra as a side or are you talking about ordering a salad as a main course?

Sorry for confusion.

Some places allow Salads as a side (assuming the entree comes with sides).

I am basically saying I have never ordered a salad at a RESTAURANT as an "entree." (I guess that is what it would be if it isn't a SIDE).

If I go to a steakhouse, and everything is a-la-carte, I'm not ordering a SALAD.

I’ve gotten entree salads for lunch before, but not dinner that I can recall. Salads that featured a protein, like a Shrimp Caesar Salad.

Always get a seaweed salad or a tuna avocado salad at sushi restaurants. You won’t catch me ordering a salad just about anywhere else though.

I’ve done a salmon caesar salad as a lunch or dinner entree. But I’m not running to any restaurant to order one. Too easy and very inexpensive to make at home.

Its maybe been once or twice I’ve only ordered a straight salad as my main course when at a restaurant. Only because I wasn’t that hungry. I always order a side/small salad as a starter at a steakhouse.
