Aren’t you from Houston? Where do you get your tomahawks from?
Also, what is your method?
Yep, I get them from HEB.

I put some flaky finishing salt on the the steak, place it on a rack on top of a pan, and let it sit in the fridge to dry brine for about 36 hours.
Insert thermometer and transfer that rack and pan into a 175 deg oven until the internal temp reaches 120-125 deg. Takes about 3-4 hours, and I can let it cook in the background while I hang out with the children.
Then I sear it on a hot cast iron for about 45 sec each side and finish with butter, roasted garlic, pepper, something simple.

Thinking about getting a Traeger and basically doing the same thing, smoke and sear.

Bend_The_Knee Bend_The_Knee I've tasted a bare lemon and I most say the experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Anyway, I just listened to this tragically yet beautiful sensible speech on lemons & lead me to question how u value lemons. Ya know, b/c I never see you post, and forgive me if u do. its just that I never see you do it.

They are iight to me. Definitely looks and smells better than she taste, but then again that's all subjective. You know how it's like. Personally I prefer regular sweet tea to lemon sweet tea.

Oh yeah, on a scale of 1 to 8, would you rate lemons, & do you like lemon or oranges better? Also, as far vegetables do you prefer sweet potatoes or platanos?
