I had the Cheesy Bacon Fondue Burger for my dinner yesterday evening at Red Robin in Northridge Fashion Center.
I tried it out since it's available for a limited time only, and I got it for my free 10th burger after having 9. I only had to come out of pocket for the extra patty. It came in handy that I was able to substitute cheddar cheese as my preference instead of having it with American cheese that was originally listed on the menu.

The closest Red Robin to LAX is in Redondo Beach, in the South Bay Galleria to be specific, which is south of the airport.
I honestly don't eat anywhere else for burgers, so I'm sorry I don't have a legitimate recommendation for you based on that.
But I may start eating at Islands again if they have some kind of deal or incentive because they supposedly brought back unlimited fries with a burger when they discontinued that hookup earlier this year.
I know I can say avoid any fast food, period.
