FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Didn't even notice it forreal.

So is "eggloaf" essentially a thicker quiche?
It’s different from a quiche in the sense that there’s no cheese, less egg, more meat (ground pork) and other unique fillers such as glass noodles and wood ear mushrooms. It can be seasoned with fishsauce, shrimp paste, salted fish, salted egg. I’d say it’s closer to a meatloaf than a quiche.

Seen a tiktok earlier of Cinnabons… ain’t had one in legit like 5 years. Might need one in the coming weeks.

Had one about 5 months ago and it was my first one in well over 10 years. It was good. I asked for it with none of that overpowering frosting though. Got it on the side and dipped a few times but the thing is so good without the frosting that I barely used IT.

Going to try this. Didn’t even think about getting it without.

Coleslaw, oxtail, and quinoa

I toasted the quinoa before cooking it, I didn’t notice a difference so I’ll skip that step next time. I read online it’s suppose to enhance the flavor.

We also have this flavor out in the market. It’s straight fire. *From now until next Tuesday, all pop corners are $1.97 each when you buy 3 bags. At all participating Safeway/Kroger/Albertsons.

:emoji_fire: I forget that you have the inside scoop on these sort of things. Good lookin out.

I mostly use my air fryer for re-heating purposes. It actually does a great job at that.

I just think the virtues are overstated and a lot of them are designed terribly. Take up way too much space and don't facilitate that much food.
