So I'll be going to Japan with a few of my boys next year and I really wanna dine at Jiro's for sushi. Anybody have any advice on how to score a reservation there?

I read the reviews for that place online.

They say you have to eat really quickly like he rushes you lol.

how do you go about making potatoes as sides for steaks and stuff?

should i cut them and boil first before sauteeing?

on the grill? I cut 2 pounds of red potatoes into quarters (or really however you like to cut them), and a whole thing of pressed garlic, two diced onions, a bunch of celery/bell peppers/carrots

threw everything into a large bowl (no need to pre cook anything), then tossed it around with salt/pepper/garlic powder, really any seasoning you want... and make sure you also toss it around with some olive oil.

Then set up a big long piece of tin foil over a baking trey, dump everything in there then fold that tin foil into a pouch.

It takes about 30 minutes for it all to come together at med-high heat on the grill.

Question for you about the baked macaroni pie. How do you apply the bread crumbs for the crust? My aunt says she melts butter and mixes the crumbs in it then spreads it over the macaroni. I can't seem to get it come out like hers.
