Yeah Glizzy is a glizzy, but steamed and browned on a griddle like say how a gray's papaya does it is the best way. That nice non burnt brown/char and the juices still moist inside. Extra pause.
Man, I forgot about Gray’s Papaya. Two dogs, 1 with sauerkraut, 1 with onions both with some mustard and one of their fresh, homemade fruit juices hit the spot

Yeah the paring knife is usually much smaller to handle small fruits and veggies and such, like this is the one I have. Still an ill knife whatever they called it though.

i’m thinking cause it’s japanese and so it’s not really a direct translation
looked up japanese petty knife and this is the one. same uses i assume as the pairing knife

Speaking of...anyone got some recs for good quality knives? Not trying to break the bank but also not afraid to spend a decent amount for good quality
