Where was this? It looks incredible

I’m on a scallop and risotto kick, so I think tomorrow I’m gonna do scallops with an asparagus risotto.

Just seems incomplete though. I’m gonna make an herb oil to finish it with, but I feel like it still needs something else. Any ideas?
The risotto or over all meal? You could add mushrooms to the risotto

Had to try da new Costco roast beef sandwich for lunch today:

Honestly not bad. Big portion for $10. The flavor of the onion relish reminds me of a sesame ginger dressing, but I’m not mad at it. I’d probably buy it again.

Also on an unrelated note I came out of a 16 year dunk retirement for these:

La Galaxy arena was pretty chill. Food was blah. Plan on attending more games next year. Wife had sushi from Benihana (not pictured).

Loaded fries from my father’s bbq was awful. Still have them on my yelp list, will not hold this against them since it was a pop up in the stadium. Will try their actual location one day.

We went to CT earlier for fried chicken & pizza. At the chicken spot we got the Murga & Murga Masala sandwiches. They had a delicious burst of Indian herbs & spices.

I also tried their Mac. I've never had Mac with fried chicken but it was a pretty good combo. Then we were off to pizza but said might as well go to Donut Crazy now that we're in New Haven. They are one of the best donut spots in the country.

Then it was time for pizza from Olde World Pizza. Great cheese, thin & charred as expected from a CT pizza spot. The other pizza spot I wanted to try called The Little Rendezvous had a 3 hour long wait for pick-up...had to pass on it. Traffic was horrendous on the way back but overall a great evening.
