The Americanized Chinese food isnt as good as nyc ones and I've been to over a dozen of them.

Yeah. I've never been, but it seems like they have good options from every culture you can think of.Was gonna say the same thing. David Chang did a pretty good Ugly Delicious episode on Houston.

Only thing about me going into restaurants of any kind high-end/low-end its has good the 1st time for me to go back another day.
I hear that there are more traditional Viet/Chinese in that region, lot of fusion spots.It just texas imo, i cant find decent restaurants like if i was like in nyc.
