homemade pasta al limone and wild caught alaskan salmon
got a pasta maker. first time making fresh pasta. i knew it was a faster cook but didn’t realize it would be done in like 30 seconds. almost caught me slipping.

Went to this Bengali restaurant yesterday that some of my family members rave about. It's in Hicksville, NY. The food was excellent & prices very cheap. I had the spinach dish with roti & Dabeli which is a popular street snack in India.
The potatoe & cauliflower was very good, paneer nice & tender. Also pictured is the veggie Tikki burger & other grilled cheese sandwich with veggies in it. All of it was superb. The hakka noodles were very flavorful & I'm not even a noodle person.
Mithai that I got was some of the best I've had. Moist, fresh & delicious. I can see why they get great reviews here.

Four cheese pizza. The “sauce” is a garlic/olive oil paste or cream. It was really tasty if you like garlic and are into white pies

Went to a local restaurant near me called Seoul Korean BBQ. Great service and great portions for the price. Definitely gonna be going back

Went to get a platter from the OG halal guys earlier- 53rd & 6th, Manhattan 
. Regular sized platter is now $11(was $6 when they first started) & small is $9. They apparently have fries too at their carts now because the guy asked if I wanted some. They don't have any deep fryers just a grill I don't know how good those fries would've been so I said no + no one else was getting them either. Still the GOAT Halal platters out there.

first time in NY as an adult my boy immediately took me here.. it was late at night and this man had me on a train for an hour, just to get halal guys. i had no clue why he was so intent on going. growing up as non-Muslims, we never got put onto halal food but the entire time he kept saying, "Mo trust me, we aint got it like this in the Bay."
when i popped the lid off, shoooot, NWTS. i understood the reason for the journey
couldn't believe there was this much food for < $7. i learned my lesson though -easy on the red sauce. first degree burns going in, 3rd degree burns going out.
