And who should eat those costs?

We know who eating for sure asking for some outlandish crap like that.

long story about a flight i had one time.

I was on a flight one time in a full row and it was in the back of the plane in the last row. The flight attendants asked me if I wanted to move up to the middle of the plane in a window seat that was roomier with more leg room and I gladly obliged.

The attendant escorted me to the row and there was a lady in the aisle seat and she had the row to herself. She was so pissed and mad to see they were sitting me in her row like she was entitled to the entire row.

Yes, you guessed it she was a Karen and older one and she looked disgusted that I was placed there. Her husband was in the opposite aisle and they are talking and I'm getting furious I wanted to knock her dentures out her mouth and I hear her say "why would they put someone in these seats it should only be for people that pay and afford them" the husband then says "yeah you know 'they' are always given the benefit of the doubt and get breaks". I had my headphones in but no sound so they thought I couldn't hear.

A little while later the Karen gets up to go to the bathroom I thought so I figured let me go now too so I don't inconvenience this POS and she had left by like a minute or so by now and I get up and start making my way to the bathroom and I see her talking to the flight attendant and asking why did they have to put me in her row. There was another person in front of me and she turned around and saw my tall self but I don't think she cared rolled her eyes and made her way back to her seat.

I wasn't trying to start drama while in the air so I just chilled out and was like whatever.

And NO she did not pay for the entire row if anyone was thinking she just was mad she didn't have the aisle and was pissed someone was seated in her nice open aisle.

Can you even buy 2 seats for 1 person on an airplane?

Yes you can and it's common where some people like a couple would buy the entire row so the middle seat is open I think.

I do believe if you are special needs and a larger person you can (maybe even mandatory) buy multiple seats.

The only positive to this would be the potential of taking young men off the streets and have them earning money earlier.

But I don't know how many young dudes in Iowa are in the streets. Might be better to try in Chicago, but the amount of young cats that would get robbed like Calvin in the WackArnolds skit might be on a skyrocket the crime rate.

Minors should not be working on assembly lines, factory or warehouse type jobs and allowing them to serve alcohol... just doesn't make sense.

They don't care about young people it's just about legalizing cheap labor they can take advantage of.

3 Fedex Memphis hub workers died in 2022 alone

They are gonna pay them $7.25

The Iowa restaurant association is the group that got this going...they're a part of the National Restaurant association

This isn't like back in the day when dads/grandfathers got that union/factory job in their teens they could live off of this is what they're doing instead of paying adults more

We're talking about teenagers who are supposed to be in school the next day being allowed to work late evening/overnight shifts.

Do you guys hear yourselves?

I worked overnight shifts; I had no interest in doing anything but sleep when I was done.

This is going backwards.
