Fools Wildin Thinking They Doing It Unappreciation Vol Get The @#*+ out

To be fair the difference between a cologne and a perfume is just the concentration of fragrance oils used.

To also be fair, I don't think he was speaking in this context.

While you are right in the literal definition, perfume and cologne colloquially have taken on definitions that speak to one being masculine and the other being feminine. I think in this context he was more so expressing he prefers something more softer leaning not made with the traditional ingredients that compose most masculine scents.

Just based on that clip, I didn't get the impression he was a frag head speaking about it in the manner you're suggesting. I have some heavy hitting parfums/perfumes that are very masculine.

I get that but what makes a masculine scent?

Lots of "masculine" fragrances use flora, fruity notes and vanilla which would be considered feminine if we go by traditional standards. All fragrances are unisex in my opinion.

Just depends on the person and if they are comfortable wearing something regardless of what label they are using to target a certain demographic. Just wear what you like. Who cares what the label says.

I agree with most of what you're saying. I was just highlighting the context of the convo and what I think he meant. While I do think there are scents that are more masculine and feminine leaning, there is definitely a grey area where some are def unisex. Baccarat Rouge 540 comes to mind.

One of my personal fav scents I own is Bodicea Valiant. Some would say it's slightly feminine leaning but it works well with my natural scent and the environments I spend the most time in. Like you said to each their own.

😮‍💨

you could have gave me infinity guesses…i don’t think i would have got that pronunciation

I had an older cousin. RIP. He used to always say that he pulled /got more attention from the ladies when wearing women's perfume.
