It's not about having higher consequences. Homie has been arrested and kicked off the team. She hasn't faced any consequences thus far for her actions.

That's what prompted the aggression towards him. This isn't uncommon at all

Dude looked like he was able to squeeze in just fine until blondie decided to shimmy on over to impede his path. I really don't get how anyone can see that it wasn't her that initiated everything. His back was to her. There's zero reason for her to push him off in the manner she did and raise her fist.

I watched the video a few times. Prior to watching the video, I thought if shorty threw a punch first then oh well you have to deal with the consequences. However, after watching it, homie could have done things differently. I'm not going to vilify him or pontificate about how he should have handled the situation. To me, shorty was clearly already washed and had little to no coordination at the time. Zero threat. The punch she threw was half-assed and barely grazed him. I would've just walked away found a bouncer and had her thrown out on her ***, while I enjoy the remainder of my evening.

He's a 19 year old dude though; obviously immature. If she did throw racial slurs at him on top of trying to get physical, it may have been too much for him to deal with rationally in the moment. I was ignorant with a bad temper at 19 so like I said, I won't denigrate the youngster. FSU's knee jerk reaction was expected, given what they dealt with previously. Still, I wish they would've at least investigated a little bit before cutting Johnson.

My personal argument is that she should face some type of consequence and not let off the hook because he hits harder. She should be charged and kicked out of school, just like him.
