The Palms
bottles start around $450-$500, but you have to add tax+ gratuity (20%) of the total bill.

so you're looking @ about 6 bills for a table and bottle.  Pardon my newb-ness, but does that pretty much get you a table in a corner on a Saturday night away from the action or is that a decent seat in the "thick" of things?  I most likely will be there (Palms) Sat-Mon as well. PM me and I'll stop by and chip in for the bottle

provided you got the eye candy

well theres usually a mininum, depending on the amount of people in your party. you cant just buy 1 bottle and have 12 people walk in
laugh.gif

and from ive been told/seen, the more money you drop, the better location you'll get. 1 bottle on a saturday night might get you all up in the back, right next to the bathroom

but i have a buddy going who will probably get a table at XS, so i might just head there and pitch in for that. gotta find a way to ditch all my gf's stupid friends+boyfriends

No, but all casinos sell bottles of alcohol. (At a decent to outrageous markup) There are grocery stores near the strip, I usually hit them & load up for my weekend.

Yes there are a few liquor stores on the strip...CVS, Walgreens and some other random spot next to Harrah's.

pretty sure those cvs and walgreens dont sell booze. the grocery stores near the strip all have inflated alcohol prices too. not as bad as the hotel liquor stores though.

i always assumed the walgreens only sold random junk. 5 extra for a bottle isnt bad then. the vons on tropicana is just as overpriced.

Yes, unless this changed this past year. I haven't tried to buy alcohol from these spots after being told they didnt sell liquor back in 2009.

where you staying and what does bottle service go for at the decent clubs?
Here's a scanned XS menu as an example. Probably a two bottle minimum, and you have to buy a bottle for every three or four people in your group. One or two bottles gets you a table. Three bottles gets you closer, and four or more can get you a dance floor table (although they tend to do minimum spends, not bottle minimums). The magnums count as two at some clubs, don't know if XS does that. If you go on an industry night, bottles can run up to $100 cheaper (Ketel One was $375 the night I went to XS, not $475). Remember, tax and gratuity is tacked on separately, so keep that in mind.
