So what's the difference exactly? Just the controls?
I have no problem with the square button being the brakes and for power sliding if that were the only difference.

The main difference is you dont have to hold L2 to stay in battle mode. You can click it on and off with R1. Brake and power slide is still square. Another break/reverse for L2.

I'm not finding the batmobile controls difficult at all. I'm even loving the tank fights so far, I love that strafe boost especially when the final hit is in slow mo! :x
I'm playing on hard by the way. I need this game to be as challenging as possible but it doesn't matter honestly. I'm about 10% in and I feel like the replay value is better than Arkham City and Arkham Asylum

Batmobile battle mode controls are great. Batmobile driving/chase/race controls are TRASH. Accordingly, the Riddler Races are horrifically annoying.
They need to patch that **** ASAP.
Also, the lack of proper challenge maps for every character (not AR) is a MAJOR blemish on an otherwise great game. You can't use anyone besides Batman except in story dictated dual play. Can't use Red Hood/Harley outside of their 15 minute segments.
It's looking like traditional maps are in the Season Pass. Read where it says "Crimefighter Challenge Maps" :x
So they cut out the best feature from City and made us pay to get it back :x 90 percent of City's replay value comes from challenge maps.

Challenged maps are supposedly not part of the game and can be found in-game (left d-pad is what I read I think) and then goes to your AR challenge in the main menu once discovered but you could only play them with Batman (for now?) though I can't confirm since i haven't tried looking them yet.
It might all be available for all other characters after you finish the game? I haven't really checked on that yet.

Nope. The AR missions are Batman exclusive and don't have nearly the variety or quantity of City's challenges. They're watered down. But there are 15 Batmobile challenges tho :x
It's already been confirmed that you can't play as other characters even after completing the main story. So the skins we have for Robin and Nightwing are unusable outside of the brief dual play segments.
It's part of the Season Pass.

Ahh that sucks then, kind of forces you to buy the season pass. I guess it's not a big deal if you were going to buy it anyways but it always sucks to be forced to pay for content that should have been included.

Yeah I was very surprised of the 5 mins of red hood story I played due to the fact that I went back to the menu and saw I was 66% done :x
Have yet to play Harley but I'm not in a rush, I want to savor this game because it's so amazing but the season pass is looking like where you'll get your fix. I just want the batgirl story line only so I'll buy it separate.

I hope the season pass allows all other characters be playable in the open world.
I haven't played Harley Quinns yet but is she in an isolated location unlike the Catwoman part in City where she at least gets to run/swing around in the open world?

^^ if it's anything like red hood it's a couple iso areas. I believe the synopsis said something about escaping bludhaven when I read it. I'll probably beat red hood and play Harley tonight after work just to give me a break from the greatness that has been the main story
