S*** man for some reason I saw someone post about season finale being 2 weeks away and thought that it was ok to come in here but I just read hella spoilers lol. Gonna have me all sorts of twisted tomorrow during first day of class lol, might just pop the headphones in and watch it lol.

Dang sorry man. Hey OP I think we should have spoilers inside or something like that in the title. :)

Oh and I'm def coming back for season 2. Can't wait to see what they do with it. They should do it how American story does it and next season not focus on the Garveys maybe a different city(la) and show things there. I don't know thinking out loud lol.

Something that I am not clear on, what is the deal with police chief's son? Who was the guy the police chief punched at his own house?

Vince, the guy that the police chief punched is the sons real father. The son must keep going to his place and bothering him.

That's Tom biological father.

A few episodes ago, they showed a pic of him when Kevin was looking around in Tom's room.

Tonight's episode was a waste. Y'all just shocked because it showed the characters before People disappeared.
Anything that was "shocking" in today's episode has no significant value unless u missed the first episode

Wow did not expect this type of ep but I'm glad it happened cuz we do need to see how these ppl were pre-departures.

Jill was so happy :lol She was sounding like Hannah Montana. Tom struggling with his actual father.

Makes a whole lot of sense that Laurie is a therapist (surprising she's rich/successful at it though) and Patti is one of her patients. Makes even more sense Patti is the type always prophesizing doom everyday. Of course you'll think you're right the day **** actually goes bad. With some of these other characters I'm seeing a growing theory that this show is largely about crazy ppl. Different types of crazy but most are all crazy.

That comment by Gladys to Laurie about the pups not needing the mother anymore clearly referenced her leaving her family for the GR. That ending though perfectly explains her change. All that passive aggressive arguing with Kevin is one thing but losing the baby. The show also indirectly said a fetus is a person since it disappeared too :lol

:lol @ the Mayor being so obvious saying Kevin's dad is just a friend. Mad see through. I still find that relationship weird. Son is old as ****. What he says to Kevin about "It is enough" and you have no greater purpose is all lifted from saying by somebody else, I've read it somewhere before.

:lol @ Garvey in the white tee smoking. I just picked up on that. Now I'm beginning to think the departures were caused by man not some unexplainable event (if this show were to ever address that).

:evil @ those yambs Kevin got in to though. That mass she had was serious. Ph and the trapped deer clearly represents Kevin.

Cool ep. Not the best but I enjoyed way more than the last one.

Just an FYI, the actress who was with Kevin in the motel is Briana Marin.

they should have had this episode earlier in the season... the placement of it being it ep 9 just doesn't feel right to me.
maybe 4-5 we would have a better understanding of these characters early on.
not a bad ep

I really felt like i was watching an episode of LOST last night. I think that might have pushed me over the edge, i don't know that i can continue watching this show after the last episode/

From Episode 6 and on this show has gotten much better. I was seriously wondering whether I should keep watching or not.

Do y'all think Kevin was being the insecure stepdad? His son keeps running over there...his real pops is clearly wrong for abandoning him but he leaves him alone. Then again I would put hands on someone who touched my child even if they were wrong.

Excellent episode. We finally see what their lives were like before. They used to be rich when Laurie was working. I now understand why Laurie flipped out. She lost her kid and Kevin was a scumbag. I'm glad we got to see the lady with the child again. I'm also thrilled to find out who Kevin was smashing when we got the cutaway scene when he was talking to the lady that lost her baby in the first episode.

I had the same exact feeling man!

It also reminded me why I loved Lost so much as the show was going on. And that's also the exact reason I was so skeptical of the show before it aired.

Lost was, by far, my favorite show of all time before the last season. Now it sucks. I haven't watched a second of the show since the finale aired. I wish I could purge that from my memory.

I've come to the realization that this show may have the same trajectory... So I've decided to enjoy the ride and expect a terrible ending.

I've come to peace with it...I'd still backhand Damon Lindelof if I was in a room with the man tho :lol

Did the Garveys have to move to a smaller house because Laurie stopped working

And i kept thinking Kevin was having a long drawn out affair. But instead it was just a spur of the moment smashing.
But was that the first time

The house they are in now is his dad's and I was thinking maybe he couldn't bare to be in his house.

Based off of what we know I think Kevin has cheated on Kevin before (See references to his dirty **** by Patti). It wouldn't surprise me if they had to move to the smaller house because Laurie stopped working. Kevin's salary couldn't support a home that size.

Episode solidified for me that Patti never knew what the **** she was ever talking about before she off'd herself. She was crazy broad who kept thinking the world would end everyday and then the departure happens and it somewhat justifies in her mind and other's around her the crazy talk.

I need answers for those folks in the car though

The GR was around prior to the departure?
. Now I'm beginning to think the departures were caused by man not some unexplainable event (if this show were to ever address that).
I still dont think it's that deep.

Man didnt make an unborn child vanish.

Maybe I missed it but does Kevin to this day pretty much know nothing about the baby and only think the reason his wife left was because of the cheating?

I don't think Kevin knows about the baby.

The house Kevin lives in is his dad's.

I need to know about the car people also, and why they thought Kevin was waiting for them.

I question if the baby is really Kevin's. I think back to when the pastor was unconscious and he fantasized about having sex with Laurie. Maybe that was guilt. In addition, why would Laurie be so snappy when asked whether the kid was Kevin's and why was she so reluctant to tell Kevin when he is a decent father from her point of view?
