Same here. However, from what it seemed like was that the fire department routinely burns houses down. Maybe they burned their rental down too which wasn't Eddie's house

I assumed it was Eddie and Gretta's house that got burned down was the same house the Garveys were going to rent. I loved watching this episode from the Garvey perspective. Obviously Kevin is crazy but I think Patti will be a great sidekick to his delusions. Kevin's ex and his son are scumbags that I hope we never have to see again.

Come to think of it, didn't Eddie tell the fire chief that he added some stuff to the house? Then the chief said something like the house wasn't within fire code anymore unless he made an exit or something like that

To me it makes you realized thats supposedly what happened. The season 2 just says the people are missing.
Yeah if im Nora and im trying to start a new family and "feel safe" well im definitely keep my eyes open on Kevin and putting in all kinds of trip wires with bells or some **** so when he moves im waking up.
I assume Ep 3 is going to start with Nora and Jill in the house as the quake happens.

The theme of thew show changed this year so the Theme Song had to change, and it works well, very well. The lyrics to the song are spot on for the show.
Sure it's not as easy on the ears as season 1 theme song was but, I appreciate the fit more than the Jangle, and that in time makes it appealing to hear.

I love the new title sequence. The song has a hippie vibe which I sort of get from parts of the town... plus it's oddly haunting with the missing people from the images.
The song they played during the end credits of the episode was pretty good/creepy/fitting too:

I tried to get 2 people on this show last night. Started EP1 on HBOgo .. 5 minutes in they askin 9,000 questions :x
Im like damn give it time to even develop. After its over they said "i dont understand anything whats going on"
My only reply was it took me about 5 episodes before i grasped anything
