It's America, viewers are lazy and every scene needs to be spelled out for us so the brain is not exercised and no imagination is needed, so it makes sense that the viewership is low.

Under 1 million viewers equals a cancelled show, HBO isn't going to care about leaving this on as "Art", show is done

Move it to netflix ... bunch of crap on there that could be replaced

Ive only found 1 show on Netflix that ive like, OITNB, and season 3 was weak compared to the other

:lol No need to rush to blaming viewers for being stupid and not recognizing a good show while it's on air.

It's totally fine if the common HBO viewer bailed on this show back in S1 let alone the tv viewer in general. Just wasn't for them.

When shows get canceled, a big part of the blame will always be on the creators and showrunners. Then the cast, writers, etc. Whether it's a right time, right place sort of thing or just something they failed to do or do well enough to keep going.

HBO is just plain strict with what ends up on the chopping block as if they were a network station (I still wish How To Make It In America got another season at least).

Wow.

You only like OITNB on netflix out of all of it's original series?

Wow. You think this show could replace House of Cards?

HBO is more about them trophies than ratings, so hopefully the show can get something to keep HBO invested.

HTMIA was broken by their last season.

Meg bat****

overall it was an okay episode, but at this point i'm prone to tune out anything that doesn't have to do with the Garveys/The Priest/the Murphys.. but they needed to set the finale up, so I'm curious to see where this will go. Evie just chillin' in Jarden the whole time? :lol tf goes on

Ep was filthy. Good lord!

Meg's little pink tweeter got Tom all the way down.
Pregnant? Yes, she said it, and it worked. Evie down with the GR though? Didn't see that coming but right when he opened the door, I knew it was her man.

Show is all the way live.

Bruh ... i was on it!! :Nthat :lol

I will watch again tonight to make sure and gather all my thoughts. I dont think the daughter is "missing" or just randomly disappeared though

I think that family is more circled around the daughter instead of the dad. The son knows more about what she's up to ..

That woods scene threw me way off .. shes gotta be in some kind of cult/satanic ritual thing because of the departures

The daughter isnt gone, shes involved in something .. im standing by that until we see or are told different in future episodes

The water disappeared in that hole that was in the center im assuming. But for those girls i just think theyre up to something.

Her curfew was 11, the earthquake was 3am .. night swim ok sure but swimming at 3 in the morning, i dont think so.

But at the same time idk because wasnt the car still on? At least the lights were on and the music was bumping. Maybe all that was staged

So now with kevin being at the lake it means the girls dodnt just disappear in the water.

Im still not convinced that the girls just disappeared and are "sudden departures". Guess we will see, but in the next week trailer Nora says that they were spotted in town somewhere.

like everyone else ... just as confused but will keep on watching

What you guys think happened to Tom?

Knowing him went back to the GR or just bounced

I said it last week that Tom went back to the GR. He's hooked on Meg

The girls, or maybe just Evie, are back prob in the finale

So now we know for sure the GR stoned Gladys, which I think they said that before already.

Matt :{ shut the hell up man

Meg ruthless ... just to be clear when she visited Jarden it was before she joined the GR right? Thats what I took it as, since she was still with dude n all. That toy grenade tho :x not cool :{

Alright I know Im not the only one that had a flashback of BET Uncut when the end credits were rollin and that song played?? 8o :rollin

The best I got out of this ep was that Evie somehow joined Meg's super edgy more extreme GR.

Didn't care for this ep until the priest showed up.

Meg is so sad. Looking like she's about to incur John's wrath once they get in to Jarden.

One question I do have is Meg went to Jarden with her fiance 2 years after the departures to see magical negro Eddie Winslow to ask her dead mom some question. So apparently dude was operating as a psychic in Jarden for at least a little more over a year (cuz that's how long Meg was in the GR after moving to NY with her fiance) and all that time John was just letting him rock? It took some outrageous price for a hand print for him to burn his house down a few weeks ago?

John a cold blooded cat.

I was so confused during the school bus scene. I legit thought she threw a grenade on a bus full of kids and was waiting on it to explode

Thought for a second Meg was bout it with that bus

So I guess we know why Evie was butt naked in the forest running now?

What about the lake draining at the scene of the "departure" though?

Yall got some theories on what Meg has planned for Evie and them in the finale? 8o
