HBO Series 'The Deuce' from David Simon coming Fall 2017

Why does Big Mike choose to live out his days in complete isolation?

Tommy gives off Joe Pesci in Casino vibes. I, for sure, thought was gonna shoot Vince.

Lori really saw herself as nothing but a sexual object after years on the street smh

The real life Lori Madison

Damn. Honestly did not expect that from Lori AT ALL. Picked up the coke, put it down, picked up the gun, blew her brains out.

The end of thw ***** parlors were just sad. Its crazy that they didn't see the sign on the walls with extinction of pimps they're barely prevalent.

Abby dipping on Vinny

I don’t understand what business does Abby think Vince is in. All of his illegal activity has funded her life. Every cause she has supported were financed by his money. His brother was just violently gunned down. Yet somehow a gun is the straw that broke the camels back. Ungrateful Broad.

Lori killing herself isn't much of a shock, it's just how fast it happened. Granted, I was shocked too, but we've gradually seen the deterioration of her emotionally. She escaped CC, but did porn thinking she was getting away, but wound up in the same situation. She just felt like she would always be pimped out, even with Candy and having to constantly borrow money to survive. She still had to pay Candy back from whatever she would earn from the movie. I guess it got real bleak when she went back out on the street that one last time. She couldn't handle it anymore. Sucks such a good show is ending like this, but it's the reality of the situation.

I just remembered the scene, but when Black Frankie casually dropped that story of how he killed a dude in jail

It was so quick. They gave us a dash of false hope that she was going to turn the corner by deciding not do the cocaine. And then BAM!

I was like WTF!

Stop watching season 3 after Frankie got got.

Gonna binge the rest of the episodes when I'm on vacation this week.

Disappointing or just depressing finale but that modern day ending was dope.

Nice to see Candy did finish her movie. Slipped in Abby nicely

When I saw yall mention that I figured maybe the last 5 min but they gave it a good 15. That final walk with all the cameos was cool.

One complaint I have is while drugs and addicts were around the crack epidemic did not really touch the show. They were definitely in the 80s this season. That one pro that died seemed more like she was hooked on heroin and then got Aids via needle. No pros or pimps turned crackheads. Most on drugs got got by the needle.

Did black Frankie make a mention to the wire When he said he was leaving to the west side of Baltimore? Couldn’t really make out what he said 100 percent.

Really enjoyed this series. Someone, I think the cook, mentioned something about people being lost to the hands of time. That perfectly sums up this series and characters. :pimp:

Vince walking around today and seeing the ghosts of Times Square was cool. I wasn't expecting that jump.

I worked in Times Square for 4 years. I couldn't imagine that place swarming with pimps, prostitutes etc lol

Finale was underwhelming to me. Enjoyed the show as a whole though.

Definitely mad we didn't get a Larry Brown story wrap up.

Damn, Vincent walking down the the steps then moments later Abby walks by. I was wondering why she didnt have a cameo but it seems that everyone that did was dead.

I wonder how Tommy Longo died, hated that fool.

Sorry but Maggie G. having a D that close to her face had me rollin. She takes her work as seriously as Eileen.

Anybody else pick up on The Wire reference dropped by Black Frankie near the end?
Just cuz he said he was going to B-more to help his cousin didn't really make me think it was a Wire reference

Is the name black Frankie or Frank or even Franklin ever even mentioned on the show? He'd be going there in the late 80s and assuming he aint die right away make it in to the 90s.
