HBO: "Westworld"...Cancelled After 4 Seasons

Exactly, the freebie chick in the dressing room is a FREEBIE.

Like being handed a free shot before you go into a club. You say no? LOL
He probably not thirsty for robot yambs.

Its not like it was a real female.

Think of it like this, if a flashlight was enticing you to use it before you dipped would you be stressing on that decision? Or a simple nah I'm good would suffice? :lol

In the previews it seems like he falls for Dolores tho
Well lusting for robot yambs and falling in love with a robot cuz you a simp are two different things.

The way a lot of the other guests have behaved so far in the show suggests to me that the robot P feels pretty much just like the real thing (maybe better in some cases???). So, me, myself, personally, I definitely would have down the girl from the beginning of last episode. But some dudes are thirstier than others and I have no shame in admitting I'm in the thirsty category.

Came into this thread expecting wild theories and what the man in black is up too and y'all talking about robot fleshlight yambs.

I'm not surprised, all good questions. :smokin

"robot" makes it sound like it has a metallic *$^#*%. it's an android made of tissue-like material. I'm sure it's got the proper temperature, moisture level, etc.

imagine when such things become affordable... makes you wonder how it would change relationships and gender roles.

Y'all think WW is the next big IT show?

Like BB and GoT

I would hope so, but I don't think so honestly. It's going to be hard to breakthrough in the sci-fi genre to the mass audiences, but I think that HBO is doing right so far. Having the second episode available early on streaming was cool to see, and I think word of mouth is going to have to continue. HBO definitely wants it to be, so I think they'll keep it front and center for the time being.

good question.

imagine being able to built the woman of your dreams. body exactly how you want it, p how you want it and she does anything and everything you want in the bedroom, no worries about unplanned pregnancies or stds? why would a man hit the club, spend money on a date, get married, etc when she can be there for you in any way you want. population would take a dive and relationships would be an after thought.

It's hard if you're trotting out another space opera that people have seen before. This show has a great and award-winning cast (Hopkins, Harris, Wright, etc.) and an identifiable setting (the old west). Add in the android angle, futuristic tech, and the philosophical implications of the whole experience, and you have a hit.
