HBO: "Westworld"...Cancelled After 4 Seasons

This episode was awesome. Can't wait to watch it again but here are some things that stuck out to me last night.


The photo that Ford showed Bernard of himself and "Arnold" a few episodes ago is actually Ford and his father. So we still don't know what Arnold looks like. Not sure if it's a huge deal but it kinda caught me off guard. Why would he lie about who was in the picture?

It was so obvious that Elsie was gonna get got :lol:. But I'm interested to see who got her. Her sleuthing revealed that the hosts gaining sentience was planned by Delos. Doesn't seem like Ford is the bad guy.

Maeve is cunning as hell. Already gaming the technicians BEFORE they upgraded her stats :lol:.

**** is about to get real. I can't wait for the rest of the season.

I don't know. I think there's already enough latent programming in Maeve to the point where wiping her memory won't stop her from coming back to this point in the long run. I'm surprised no one has bothered checking her floor board. I guess they don't monitor the hosts that closely. I wouldn't be surprised if she's written instructions on what to do in case they wipe her memory again and she stumbles on the secret stash.
 
I think it's because of the new programming Ford introduced. It enabled them to reach back onto old "memories" so the wiping wasn't totally removing everything. Same with modern electronics, when you wipe, there are still remnants until you copy over the deleted data (or destroy it fully).

This show is a mind **** because just when I think I've figured out everyone's motivations...
 
this was my favorite episode so far i think and it had something to do with dolores not being in it

...but i was under the assumption that tech boy louis ck was going along with this because maeve was gonna let him smash....

i guess i interpreted that wrong.

partly because she said something like "ill forgo my fee", meaning she usually charges alot for dat *** but it can be all his if the price is right
 
I think the part where Teddy explained what the maze meant to him was pretty important. I need to go back and listen to it word for word.

But to me it sounded like he was explaining that an AI kept waking up from being killed in the park, got sick of getting "murdered by his oppressors" and went on a killing spree in the real world, aka murked a bunch of technicians then escaped the lab. Went out into the real world and nobody knew he was a robot. Got himself a house and built a maze around it that nobody else could get into.............

Maybe that was the incident that happened 30 years ago at the park. That robot was Arnold. MiB knows about it now and is searching for Arnold so that they can help the other robots make it into the real world.

They made it pretty clear they could totally wipe hosts' memories but it would take more work in building new ones as opposed to tweaking them.

How there isn't a mass kill memory switch is crazy.

I would've been had the multiple death blows for these robot A.Is.

Its not Delos. Its Arnold and whoever is working on his behalf. The relay and satellite are older Delos versions that only affect the 47 hosts made by Arnold.

I assume Ford knew it was possible that the hosts could be sentient but didn't care since he figured only Arnold could do it and now he's dead. Even with his voice in some of their heads Ford still doesn't consider it a big problem.

I assume the reason why that lady was also messing with the hosts was to try and blame it own Ford to limit his power.

:lol: Bruh, Maev wasn't lettting him or anyone smash. A figure of speech given the situation and that dude wasn't smashing anyway. They most likely let other co-workers smash for a fee during that down time.

Asian cat did all kinds of snitching.

There is no doubt about it, that's for sure the bot from the OG film down in the basement. We've already seen the show do some top notch CGI to make a younger Anthony Hopkins appear in the story, I wonder if they would try and do the same with Yul Brynner and try and include him in the story. I'm just gonna pretend like this show is a sequel to the events from the film, I don't care :lol:

Eh, I dunno about Bernard. Unless he died and Ford valued him so much he made a duplicate of him like Arnold did for Ford's family. Earlier in the season Bernard was skype-ing with his ex (the mother of his dead son) so he is indeed a real person or was.
 
Why the hell is their basement looking like a horror movie set? Creepy as hell.

Maeve seems like a good time. She was getting strangled but still wrapped her legs around the guy. The Asian guy is safe for now but I wouldn't be surprised if she murks him.

Scared for Elise bay. She should've brought a better weapon than that little gun.

cyclops went into Rambo mode. So now i'm wondering if he really was a bad guy and he was wyatt's partner. Maybe he'a been trying to make up for that stuff by being a good guy now.

SMH at no Dolores this episode.

Show is my new favorite. No doubt about it. I'm obsessed. Just finished catching up today. It is literally like watching a live-action movie of Red Dead Redemption. and also like a behind the scenes look at how certain thinks take place.


I still have no clue where the place is set.

I would absolutely go. Just to smash doh. I'm not with all the killing. But I would shoot up hella clubs day 1, if you know what I mean. I would fully indulge in all of the fun there is to be had.

No. I was looking for a gif of that scene but couldn't find one so I just posted pics from tumblr. Her courage stats are def up. Not many would seek to get killed so they could return to a weird laboratory.
