HBO'S "Insecure" [ Created by Issa Rae ► Season III: 2020 ]

i really like how the how captures visuals of the parts of la that have lots of life and energy yet have often gone ignored or unnoticed. the landscape aerial shots can be really stunning

I agree, visually it looks great.

One thing I gotta remember is this show is more for woman. It ain’t really for me but my wife been bored as **** with these two episodes so far.

I watched the show because season one was hilarious and it hasn’t been that funny since. These two episodes, I’ve probably laughed three times.

I guess I’m alone, the main story line about your ex dating your friend is boring as ****. This isn’t interesting enough for a full season.

Molly’s character is annoying. She needs less screen time.

This season is 0-2 so far.
That's not the main plot.

There’s so much time in between seasons that I forgot why I thought Lawrence was a clown

That final thanksgiving scene reminded me of season 2 or whenever when his last chick hopped out the whip in the middle of the street  He can’t get out of his own way

This the **** I'm talking about. Issa and Molly end up going at each other while shopping, address they've been off but just let some awkward silence allow them to switch topics. Let that be a couple and you know the female is gonna wanna talk all that out. We've seen both Issa and Molly do it with the men they've been serious with.

This ***** Lawrence. Stay overthinking ****. How you gonna offer to fix a sink and not know how to :lol That tweet 100% right Lawrence the new Tasha.

Issa buggin with all the revisionist history. She aint support Lawrence. Yeah you got the work in progress and you cheated so you didnt have to see if he fulfilled his potential.

Molly will always have problems still can't get over her dad's secret and indiscretions. Cant even play a damn family board game together.

The Robin Thede cameo :rollin

This ***** Chad said Bradley Cooper fell off :rollin Let me find out Chad actually don't got a girl or she wild ugly, that conveniently dropped

Molly’s character is too unlikable for me. She judges everybody except herself

Exactly. She's always blowing something out of proportion. Maybe it's me, but if I'm an adult in my 30s, I wouldn't be that mad if I found out my dad cheated decades ago. If you're a child, I can totally understand feeling betrayed but as an adult you understand that relationships have more nuance

My parents have been married for over 40 years and I'd be naive to think that every day was sunshine and rainbows. My dad might have done some dirt in the 80s, I don't know for sure, but I know for a fact I wouldn't hold it against him in 2020. Especially if your parents are still together and making it work.

Also, how is she judging her dad for cheating decades ago with just a couple of months ago, she was sleeping with a married man? Why is she holding her dad up to the higher standard than she holds her self up to?

I know a ton of women like Molly. Smart and successful professionally but they're naggy, judgmentaland stupid relationship-wise. On top of this, a lot of these women are extremely picky like Molly

Issa is dead wrong for thinking that Condola is reaping the benefits of her labor. The way I think about it, Isa and Lawrence are just bad for each other. He probably doesn't get his life together if he stays with Issa. They needed to go there a separate ways.

I also don't understand why Lawrence is pressing Condola so hard. They've been together for, what, a month or two? He's already asking her about marriage and kids? He needs to relax.

I feel Issa. They were together how long? 5 years?! And he didn’t decide to get himself together until he was forced out of his comfort zone. Issa was wrong for cheating tho. But sometimes when you get too comfortable with someone you aren’t motivated by their words anymore.

I think they needed a break but they do deserve to be back together. They’re both the better versions of themselves and what they needed for each other.

Lawerence is in his mid 30s if he’s not asking those questions upfront he’s wasting his time. He wants to settle down (he was sad he didn’t have that family dynamic for the holidays. Which is when it hits most).

I don’t think Lawrence asking about marriage and kids too soon. If that’s what he wants for himself better to know now then later she may not want the same.

I get Issa’s feelings. I watched the first episode today and Lawrence did come off pretty bummy.

and end up lonely forever or a single mother with two and even more lonely :lol

Candola with the mixed messages. If Lawrence is who you got under to get over your ex, why you worried about Issa and Lawrence having in-jokes and good chemistry? I think she has more feelings than she wants to admit. I watched the wind (wine?) down and they talked about exes and they actually said some ish that made sense.

Memorable quote for me by Condola's actress was "Being just friends with an ex is possible but not probable." I agree 100%. And then one of the writers on the show said, being friends with an ex is just not necessary. Yall not together, yall dont really like each other, why try and stay friends?

Makes sense to me.
