Got the trainer 2 in hand. They are indeed lighter but they also feel less premium. I’m surprised they cost more too. The foam accents, cloth pull tab doesn’t feel like a luxury sneaker. Even the leather feels less premium. They almost do feel like functional shoes vs a luxury casual sneaker. Leaning towards not keeping them.

My only gripe wit the trainer 2 was the price. That total stung a bit but I’m happy wit the shoe. Can always off some kicks that are collecting dust to ease that sting….

Thats kind of my thing too. Are they really $1800 nice? I expected all premium materials like the trainer 1. I get the intention to make a more authentic feeling retro sneaker but if you take off the LV logo, you can’t really say it’s a premium shoe.

I get that but the feel definitely can be more premium. The original trainers feel premium all around when you hold a pair. The LV Air Force do as well.

Off-White Navy sweat shorts from Mr. Porter sale. Grabbed the last Large. They fit almost exact, wished I could have sized up.
Do they shrink much after washing/hang drying?
EDIT: There was 1 XL in stock so gonna exchange it…. Most likely lol

My bad bro if I gave you the wrong sizing information. They do fit true for me. On the description I believe it said that the model sized up for a looser fit.

All good fam. I took the chance & luckily they still had the size up so the exchange is already in effect.
I was honestly also waiting on them for sizing to pull the trigger on another pair that ain't on sale lol.

Just depends on who is packing the box that day. I'd say about half the pairs I've bought didn't come with laces.

i figured but ordered on the same day and probably packed by the same person, white laces option in the black pair might be nice
sizing worked alright, usually a 10 in nikes/jordan and got an LV8 and its a little roomy, could probably do another half size down but im too lazy with the return and re-order ish unless the closest store to me has the size for exchange
just gon wear em with some thick elite socks or stance bballs
might order the derbies i posted up top so hopefully its same sizing as the sneakers
