i'm way more partial to the brixtons bc of the fold-down heel than the 53s and jordaans
this isn't really "avant garde" but i've always been a sucker for l'eau d'issey eau de toilette
also, fragrances are a super ****ty market where everything is constantly being reformulated just to cut costs (like makeup!) so a bottle from 10 years ago is going to be totally different from a new bottle you buy today
re: celine hooded varsity
i really like the simplified logo graphic design but personally, i'd much prefer to wear a hoodie under a varsity than a varsity with a built-in hood

Idk, I would just get the mule if you wanted a backless option. Have never actually seen anyone wear the Brixton with the heel collapsed in real life. I also like loafers to be more rounded so more biased towards the OG.
