Backdoor happens, bots happen and so many other things. To think that Nike, adidas and all other companies aren’t working hand in hand with each other so they can get a piece of the resale pie? Fake sellouts on their site and then sell the rest on stockx or goat. It’s not rocket surgery and if you think big shoe companies don’t want resale then you are sleeping at the wheel thinking these releases are halfway fair. Why else wouldn’t they change how to get shoes away from bots? Cuz they don’t care AND have better bots than anyone since they can just limit the amount sold from their websites. Retail or bust will stop this machine but the thirst is real.

I honestly don't understand the "just don't pay resell" idea because it would take unity from the entire market interested in sneakers that will never happen.
Just not realistic. You can choose not to pay but the next guy will.

If us consumers had more self-control, the market would look way different

sarcasm or not. its true. I worked as an regular associate, yet I had my own place etc, but still managers would ask me for money or pool their money together just to get a "box" from KFC. lol.
Point being, the hustled never stopped/stops.

even if its a million and above, we know cats are gonna double and triple up. The spots that sell kicks in the hood for absurd prices gonna get pairs to flip. I know a bottle boy/drug dealer in my hood that bought a pair from said spot for 450.00 just because.
