Hollywood actors, CEOs charged in nationwide college admissions cheating scam

Just showing that college and your ticket into the American Dream is "pay to play"

Not to diminish the white priveledge.
Most of these elite institutions are plantations that evolved into modern institutions.
The power structure of America has not really changed.

As a public school teacher I can tell you first hand the system is flawed. I see average privileged white kids get shortcuts and handouts their counterparts don’t get every day.

Let them tell it though...

First they try to buy you...the parents send them in with gifts. I’ve gotten everything from amazon gift cards, to baked cakes. It’s a setup for later in the year when they want that “extra point” for their GPA.

Huffman's gonna write a book + do a press tour
She'll be back acting in no time

Hearing her play the victim is gonna be golden. “I just wanted the best for my child. The public backlash made life unbearable. I had thoughts of suicide sometimes. I struggle to fit in. I struggle with anxiety. Etc”

cut the check for the book deal and the cover of People Magazine.

This is real life

RADAR Lori Loughlin is finally getting ahead of the possibility she may be heading to prison — she’s hired experts to train her up in how to best survive behind bars, RadarOnline.comOpens in New Window has exclusively learned.

“She’s knuckling down, learning the lingo and practicing martial arts to give off the impression she’s tough and to ward off potential bullies,” an insider revealed, noting that Lori, 55, “knows there will be plenty of them in federal prison.”
“Prison is going to be sink or swim and Lori doesn’t intend to sit back and take the abuse without a fight,” the insider told Radar of the possibility Loughlin could spend up to 45 years in jail if convicted on all charges.

“Besides the physical training she’s getting lots of advice from prison professors on how to earn one’s keep behind bars,” the source said. “It’s a sure sign she knows deep down she’s facing an inevitable stretch and will need to be prepared.”

Feel like they ****ed her over by putting that out there. Look she did the crime, and she'll do the time, but I'm not tryna see Aunt Becky get shanked.

She's not going to last in there...

Lori Loughlin Hires Prison Expert to 'Help Her Learn the Ropes' If She Serves Time

Lori Loughlin is preparing for every possible outcome in her upcoming trial in the high-profile college admissions scandal — including learning what life will be like if she ends up serving jail time.

“She has someone who is advising her what to do in case she loses her case and goes to prison,” a source close to the Fuller House actress tells PEOPLE. “The advisor is there to help her learn the ropes. That’s not to be construed that she thinks she’s going to lose her case. Lori is a planner, and she is doing what she needs to do for all contingencies.”

Loughlin, 55, faces up to 45 years in prison for her alleged role in the scandal.

According to the complaint against them, Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to admissions consultant Rick Singer (and his nonprofit organization, Key Worldwide Foundation) to falsely designate daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli, 20, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 21, as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, though neither actually participated in the sport.

Authorities allege that the family even took photos of the girls on rowing equipment to perpetuate the ruse.

In addition to charges of money laundering conspiracy, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud, Loughlin and Giannulli were handed an additional federal charge last October: one count each of conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery. They have pleaded not guilty to all counts.

The source close to Loughlin insists that she will mount a vigorous defense. The couple filed a motion last month claiming that they didn’t know their donations would be used as bribes. They say that they were hoodwinked by Singer.

The couple has closely followed other high-profile cases in the scandal, and realize that many defendants who have pleaded guilty have still had to serve jail time. (Actress Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison.)

“They realize that if they are convicted, they’ll have to serve time,” says the source. “And they’re figuring out what that would look like, which includes hiring a consultant to explain prison life to them.”

“The whole point is to have someone tell her how to keep herself safe,” the source tells PEOPLE. “She needs to keep a low profile if she’s incarcerated. Obviously, she’s going to stand out, because of all the publicity and because she’s a star. She can’t do anything about that. But she doesn’t want to stand out because she’s so green that she does the wrong things.”
