Hollywood needs to stop with the whitewashing vol. Exodus: Gods and Kings

Black folks boycotting this movie isn't going to do a thing. The movie is still going to make it's money regardless (the religious people will make sure of that)

The director didn't have YOU in mind when he made this (clearly evident by the casting) so why are you so bent out of shape?

I get your point, but I have the right to be angry that African people and gods are represented by white people. Ramses was actually a real historical figure and people who view the movie will think he was white. Where do we draw the line?

I think it's disrespectful. If the dominant society made a movie about Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, or Rosa Parks and cast white men/women would you still ask why we are bent out of shape?

At the end of the day Hollywood isn't run by Non Whites so sadly I expect nothing much from it besides movies made with the Majority in mind. IMO Non Whites should try to focus on creating their own parallel markets/economies. No Reason we can't utilize platforms like Netflix to produced media, no reason we can't use the likes of a Youtube to create our own news networks, etc.

Cool, i didn't know if you had serious interest or were trolling. No pun intended.

Anyways when we discuss earth, we discuss things on a terrestrial plane. Or the 3d plane. Anything with no origin there is a extraterrestrial.

That's why they always suggest that the pyramids were built by extraterrestrials. We built the pyramids as a reminder of heaven and where we come from. Something that would defy the material word and logic. Taking it a step further, for the longest archaeologist couldn't understand why Egyptians would build pillars that weren't equal. Finally they figured out were building things that symbolized the chaotic realm we hail from. Chaos is one in the same as love. Look at some of the chaotic things you've done while being in love.

What we consider the physical world is a holographic illusion of things happening inside of us. Take for example the Christ is supposed to return on a white horse to sit at the right hand of god in the kingdoms of heaven.

The white horse is your hippocampus where your memory is held. God is your pineal gland. And the king-dome of heaven is your head.

I can't remember the name of the constellation but a Pegasus related constellation was found in the 50's moving Into our solar system. Btw soul-ar system is what they really mean.

Moving along, all these supposed physical prophecies are really metaphysical/spiritual events taking event in the collective subconscious.

Sirius is where we draw our light from as light beings.

We fell from the heavens into a lower vibration material world that became a light prison and wiped our memory. You see our story everywhere and how to get back home

Krishna
Jesus
Heru
Hercules
Lucifer
Jason and the argonauts

And my personal favorite Star Wars. Annakin is just a play on the words annunaki. Hence him being black and as usual white washing the Christ figure with a white luke skywalker.

So I when I say were extraterrestrial I mean were not of this earthy plane, and the sun in the sky is not where we draw our spiritual light from.

I know that was kinda over the place but if there is something specific you want me to elaborate on ill try
How long have you been studying and supporting this theory? It's definitely very interesting. When you say "we" are not from here originally, are you referring to the elements that we're created from (star dust, if you will), or that modern humans are not from earth?

PM me if you would so the thread doesn't get derailed, unless others might me interested too

THIS!! I think that's the best long term solution. Sites like Kickstarter and GoFundMe are great tools to get our stories produced. I've been finding a lot of great black content makers on twitter and youtube.

Looking at how the Hidden Colors series was made and received by the black community gives me a lot of hope. We just need to keep spreading this thought process.

Speaking of which.... I just recently donated some money to help produce this African centered cartoon called MELTREK.

With the Technology available no reason we shouldn't have a resurgence in a "Blaxploitation" type industry. People rag those type of films but don't realize the social messages hidden under all of the outlandish antics in most of them. I always said If I was in a Tyler Perry type position I would fund young independent film makers and do a "Tyler Perry presents" type deal with these guys where I fund their film and get a little kick back on revenue, only reason I`d even have the "So and So" presents is dudes like Tyler Perry feel they have to be involved in every part of their movies, at leas this will give other people shine and you still get your ego stroked.

That's exactly how "The Spook that Sat by the Door" was produced. It was largely an independent film that got distributed by United Artist. Once they saw the content they halted distribution REAL quick.

That movie was amazing. Me and my girl just watched in the other night. She was amazed how much they got away with in that movie.

Its very important to nurture the independent market so it doesn't get gobbled up by the big studios. Every major independent movement always get bought out by corporate interest eventually.

Zapatero clown has been revealed his true colors a long time ago. Nothing new

Please tell me what my true colors are.

Y'all dudes still responding :{

Yep, this keeps this thread on the front page and hopefully people reading get some good information. We all know the guy is a troll, but its fun.

so its racism huh...lol

so its todays racism and limitations and discrimination etc....

that makes a black person go into debt damn near trying to get a lexus instead of the honda accord their budget can afford.

and its racism that makes the black person instead of getting the 100k house they can afford but instead get the half of million dollar home to which is waaaay out of their budget.

its racism that makes the 16 y/o black kid stop doing his homework online to check out the latest videos on wshh.

yea racism in todays time make a black woman get knocked up by multiple men without being married to them or having a stable or serious relationship with the guy.

yea racism and limitation and discrimination makes black ppl spend money on lottery tickets and tithing instead of cds and ira roth accounts... black ppl are being denied the access to have saving accounts and 401k's

yea its racism and discrimination and limited access to which 3/4th of a black familiy diet is fast food and process foods aka microwavables etc... cause that damn racism and discriminations forces the black women who makes 100k a year eat churches, popeyes and mckie dees etc... majority of her and her family meals

So its racism huh...gthohwtbs

This is a perfect example when someone gets an answer and just doesn't want to face the truth!!

:rollin :rollin.... You are quite entertaining

Yea, dude is just flat out being stupid now.

May I just ask, personally why does it matter what skin color they are to you? Idk why it matters to anybody. Is it ****** casting? yea. But I don't think it's that important what skin color they were.

I'm sure you wouldn't have been cool with Apocalypto or a Mayan/Aztec feature film having Chinese actors as the main characters.

I copped that in Brooklyn on some black market ****.

Dude was selling the dvds out of his coat like it was crack.

Me and some homies have been thinking about remaking the film with a modern perspective and doing a Kickstarter for the funding.

Wait this thread is still alive LOL
But Egyptians were not black.

Do you know what a facsimile is?

Outside of the Tut mask, what you just posted are recreations of real Egyptian scrolls/wall paintings. They were obviously altered by Europeans or Arabs. I urge you to do more research. Egyptians up until the Greek invasions were occupied, ruled, and governed by Africans. This is not even up for debate.

Googling 'ancient Egyptians' and then posting the images that come up doesn't prove anything other than the fact that propaganda still pervades common thought...the only reason the 'Egypt isn't black' MYTH exists is because the lie that it was nonblack was repeated over and over for decades.  Once you tell a lie enough times, eventually it will take hold and become 'truth.'

Nothing really wrong with that really, just maximizing earning potential due to the marketability. The catch is movie making is a relatively influential business, so your angle may be skewed.

Blacks making an independent market seems to be an effective move in film making that targets it's own demographic, however a concerted effort of that magnitude has questionable practicality. Not saying it couldn't be done (as it was in sports, for example), but tough to say significant support would be easy to achieve.

^Some light skin black dude with curly hair? Cool.

I think you should step back from racial issues for a while. I mean, a lot of what you say starts off as "I dunno but I think.."
Which isn't bad but...

Step back and allow yourself to be educated or better yet do some research then bring something to the table outside of thoughts that you've conjured up, which have been wrong without fault.

Oh and I peeped you flipped the script on your homie shoelaces after he got banned, off some "yea he is being stupid now"

Ok bro whatever floats your boat. I dont care what they were personally but if you would rather believe Nas' rap song over the papayrus drawings and the historical accounts of egyptians then fine by me.

This is like the 3rd you've come in this thread posting about Nas. >D

No one in here is citing Nas's song "I Can" as a reference that Black people ruled Ancient Egypt(Kemet).

Did you even google Ancient Kemet?

Oh wait you don't care but you somehow continue to pop back in this thread to post on a topic you personally don't care about. :rolleyes

You have no idea what you're talking about.

But stop acting like the Mayans were your ancestors, they were clearly Korean.

If you want to ignore the the drawings and statues and believe Pitbull lyrics, that say they were Hispanic, go ahead.
