The Mavs were soooooooo mad last night   4-0 against those bums. Wins against them feel extra sweet even though they're nothing this year, and will probably be that way for a long time. Loved how after the Rockets early lead got wiped away, they reclaimed it and never looked back. Mavs were so salty they were trying to be dirty all night, especially when 3 of those guys combined probably don't average more than 9 points a game, and that's being generous. Oh well, smashing them in their own arena is great. Just have to keep these wins going. A couple nights ago (maybe before the Grizz game) I mentioned it would be good to get to 25 wins before 10 losses. Looks like we're on schedule.

When Trev got that tech at the FT line, you can tell he wanted somebody's lunch. Dude was pacing, hands shaking, and had the "alright, we'll see after the game" constant head nod. Couldn't make out what he was saying but he looked like he was ready for the game to be over to catch his fade

What a bloodbath  it could have been even worse if they didn't get lazy in the 3rd quarter. Pure destruction, it was fantastic to watch. Seeing Harrell hit FTs and finish at the rim make me facepalm at Dwight and Terrence Jones to the opposite

After the Clippers closed to within six in the fourth quarter, the Rockets cranked up the scoring again. As often is the case when energy slips, that meant turning to Harrell to get it going again, but never has he been so unstoppable going to the rim and climbing above it. Harrell keyed the Rockets fourth-quarter turnaround, scoring 13 points in the quarter after the Clippers made things tight. Eric Gordon dropped in a few 3s on his way to 19 points. By the time Harden returned to the floor, having already collected 30 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, the lead had grown to a safe 17.

He knew where to go to finish his seventh triple-double of the season, two shy of his career total coming into the season. Harden twice whipped bounce passes to a cutting Harrell and doing his swim back down the floor after they conspired on Harrell's final bucket. By then, some of the shots that had pushed the Clippers back in the game were no longer falling. But if the Rockets had believed they could just outscore any run the Clippers could manufacture, they had reason. The Rockets reached 120 points with 7:49 still left, giving them a third-consecutive game with at least 120. They have 13 games with at least 120 points this season, matching their most 120-point games since the 1990-91 season.

They easily surpassed their previous season high of 134, despite cruising for a stretch. The Rockets did not just shoot 3s well, or run the floor or move the ball, or finish at the rim. They did all of it. They did it fast and easily, not only rolling to a 14-point lead when Harden was dominating, scoring 17 points with nine rebounds in the first quarter, but pushing it to 25 while he sat in the second quarter. In some ways, that was the most impressive part of rolling to such a large lead so early. The Rockets outscored the Clippers, 10-2, to start the second quarter. And after Jamal Crawford put in a 3, Gordon scored and Sam Dekker finished a layup for a 36-9 Rockets run since the Clippers led, 17-15. Even with their second-quarter lull, the Rockets scored 74 points in the first half, their most in a half this season. But the scoring was not an aberration. In the past 5 games, the Rockets have averaging 63.8 points on 51.8 percent shooting in the first half.

Roughly around the time Harrell blocked a shot on one end and flushed a spectacular alley oop slam on the other, they generally seemed to be enjoying it more than ever and perhaps too much. That did not last, with the Rockets hitting Los Angeles with one more rush of scoring to blow out the shorthanded Clippers for the second time in one game.

I don't understand the NBA schedule. You have a million off days and then play back to backs

I guess it's better than those stupid 4 games in five nights things they'd been doing for years

A historic performance :pimp:

Is there currently a city with a better trio than Harden, Watt(non broken back), and Altuve?

:pimp:
