Don't get emotional because there are legitimate public policy concerns that could be fixed by making school staff able to fulfil their roles as first-responders to child-involved issues and conflicts more easily.hold up. hold up right there

you're assuming spanish is being spoken between students in order to plot violent crimes
to most rational thinking people that puts you in a real racist light

In addition to the very plausible things I already listed, staff that only speaks English would also miss early warning signs of child abuse if they couldn't effectively understand/overhear other kids' conversations. But who wants the teachers to help the Hispanic kids anyway?
