How do you wear your shoes when you play basketball ?

Do you wear your basketball shoes up to the point where your toes are touching or at the very top of your shoe inside, Or do you wear it where you have slightroom on top ?

When I was younger I would just play ball with whatever shoes I had on and leave them how I wear them casually(usually laced midway and pretty loose) R.I.P tomy ankles.
