Same people probably don't know the difference between being fortunate and being spoiled.what's wrong with kissing your loved ones on the lips?
Pretty much how I feel. I tell them boys everyday I love them, they probably get tired of hearing it toomy son is about to be 13 and I still kiss him, I love my kids to death and I see nothing wrong with it.
Its a peck, thats it.
In my eyes, people who think this is nasty probably have never loved a child or have issues.

Yup, too ******* bad
Never know what might happen. When we part ways I love you is the last thing he'll hear from me every time
This would be my stance, if I had kids.I don't kiss my children on the lips at all. Never have, never will. Just personal preference...
So, from what I am reading, NOT doing it is messed up? Not kissing them at all? Explain please because I can't agree
Why would any parent NOT give their kids a kiss on the forehead or cheek at times?
I can understand not giving a peck on the lips after a certain age, but not being able to kiss their forehead/cheek? That's all sorts of effed up to me. My daughter will always get a kiss on the forehead before bed and when I leave for work.
I dont think anyone said there was anything wrong with that

What about kissing your cousin or hot aunt, word to Crank Lucas.
While kissing is just one form of affection, it is also one of the most personal physical forms of affection between parent/child.So, from what I am reading, NOT doing it is messed up? Not kissing them at all? Explain please because I can't agree

Right. But that was the question that was posed....I dont think anyone said there was anything wrong with that

Didn't mean to make it specifically about kissing on the lips. This applies to kissing on the forehead/cheek EDIT: as well.
Lacking is one thing. Being effed up is another. That's almost like an argument about spanking -- doing it (or not doing it) isn't effed up, its just a difference in choice. I don't want to turn this into that kind of argument though lol.

In my opinion, a child that has never received a kiss from a parent is lacking a pretty personal form of affection. But that's just me.
You didn't get kissed as a child, Jemele? It really is so cold in the D, huh?
That's what you think but once they get to about 12, they won't even let you hug them on a consistent bases. When I have kids I will ALWAYS kiss them but kissing on the lips will stop at a very young age like 3. Foreheads/cheeks are forever, b.
Agreed. Grown men still have non-sexual ******* in their mouthes
If you coddle your kid too much, especially the boys, they're more inclined to grow up pacified and entitled, I think. Probably why you got a lot of punks growing up these days.
You said it is an EFFED up situation. Of course there is no formula for raising kids so there is no right or wrong answer. But I don't think a child not getting enough KISSES (assuming he IS getting enough love and attention) will be affected negatively.
