Yeah the i730 was legit. The way it used to light up when it rang
i95 was cool too. I bought a CD off ebay with like 1000 ringtones for that thing. Used have "Where Da Hood At" on full blast, speakers sounding like a broken clock radio when someone called.

it was dope imo... not better than the 90s though.... but anyways music was good, jerseys were poppin and so was fitteds, ps2 best system of all time, sneakers were just classic during this time and urban clothing in general rocawear, bape, supreme and lrg was cool too...tall tees were actually acceptable... social media wasnt around but xanga and myspace was poppin... facebook only started after 05-06 so nobody was up on it like that...

Then I wanted a full on Evisu fit with the jeans, red track jacket, and belt to go with the OG white/red XIIs I got. Whole fit was like $600. I saved the money but my mom refused to buy it because a kid got killed for his Eddie Bauer a few years back... it's probably a good thing I didn't get my own debit card until the end/after HS...

I had one. It was cool in theory, but getting random. Reps and people just start talking out loud was no go. It always used to happen when I was in class tooI wanted the i530 just because of how cool I thought it looked.

I was surprised how many guys I know have 0 phone game. They would not have survived the 90s/ early 2000's
I remember as a kid taking up the courage to call up a girl you barely knew was SO nerve wracking. Especially if you live in the gulf, you barely have interaction with girls unless you are in some sort of international school (I was not).
Back before facebook and all that jazz, we had a group of friends and all it took was just ONE of us to get a chicks number and if that works out, she brings her friends and we bring ours. It was so hard to do that because places were limited. It's either at the mall where security guards and parents were watching or one of us who kind of knew a girl so he and his buddy would camp out the girls school waiting for her to leave and we literally get 30 seconds but that felt like an eternity. Then in early 2000's Starbucks started popping up and became the go to spot, it's easy to ditch our parents to go to starbucks and there were no security guards. It was glorious.
Then facebook came along and made things SO much easier.
Good times.

Kind of the time before technology boomed and took over our lives.
Parties were wild, and it was all word of mouth. Talking to girls was actually talking to girls, communication was done via land line. Going on the internet was done via land linelol ). Gas was cheaper.
Just different, we have more information now than we know what to do with.

I remember driving to NorCal the day after to visit my cousin, Oversized laker flag on my car and all that. I pulled up on his drive way beeping so that chump knew I had arrived. I saw him crack the blind open and act like he was asleep, even turned off his phone
I said F' it I'm driving back home to LA. I stopped at a gas station (Still in NorCal) so I could take the Browns to the Super Bowl and fill up my bucket with some gas. I came back out and saw someone had ripped off the flag and left it on the floor. NorCal dudes were in shambles. This was one of the greatest days to be a Laker fan. Top 5 most important shot in NBA basketball that I've seen on tv.
