you’re right. Definitely like that more than the white, but still wish it were same color as the actual mowabbs, and/or the last retro… either way, I’ll be attempting to grab.

They’re still comfortable, can’t say much good about the materials tho.

It's amazing how different the two versions are. The 2003s are like a legit remake of the OGs. The 2015s are so far off, it's crazy. It's one of my favorite shoes ever, I had the OG Fab Five colorway in 1992. And I sold all my 2015 retros because I couldn't stand to look at them LOL

So true buddy. I have the white/silver/blue 2003 retro and wore them casually. Still look brand new in the box. Also have the black/blue Fab Five pair that also released in 2003. Never wore those. The shape was damn near identical to the OGs. Those 2015 were a sad nightmare. We need a good OG shaped retro.

The last Mowabb Huarache wasn't the prior retro. It was before that, like 2008. I had a pair of those above and sold them. Were DS and the shape was great.

I picked up my pair from my parent’s pad, had to give them a deep clean. I used to bike with these when I was in college lol

After a quick clean. Midsoles still firm, let’s see if they hold up

Could be a new compound on the recrafts or the layer of paint on the mowabb that’s giving them a different perception. I’ll say it’s the former.

Midsoles will be fine, your only concern with huaraches will only be midsole separation, and/or heel tab cracking.
