Ahh. Just purely based on that I would maybe look into impressionism or post impressionism. Just strikes me as something to you create with nice sensibilitywith the said medium (photography). Maybe Cezanne just off the cuff.

Anything too abstract seems like it would kinda weird with photography, but I don't know. Maybe I'm over thinking it. The mentioned Warhol seems kindatrite, like overtly typical, along those lines but probably the road less traveled maybe someone like Basquiat if you wanted more contemporary than my firstsuggestion.

But I don't think there was good american painter until the 20th century but that's a whole nother story.
