damn, i got comcast and im getting 20-25 but what im paying it says im supposed to be getting 50...


i dont even know what to say or do, is this normal?

When verizon gave me the upgrade i was still getting my old upload speed, i called them up and they sent me a new modem and that solved the problem

Maybe thats whats going on with your speeds also

im not sure if its with all areas but it says Blast with power boost 50mbps

and im getting half or less

im gonna call them tomorrow about it.

What about AT&T? Usually if you can't get Verizon you're in an AT&T area. At least that's how it is where i'm at.

Their prices are even higher for comparable speeds from Time Warner. As a matter of fact, this thread motivated me to upgrade my service to the next tier earlier today for 15$ more

Yea its your modem. You most likely need a DOCSIS 3.0 capable modem.
