i disagree apple cares... cares enough to pay one of the leaders of jailbreaking...something in the 7/8 figures just to show how it was done and give ideas for new features....and pretty much throwing around 6/7 figures to many of the other jailbreakers and ppl who are developing cydia apps tweaks etc... I know apple is a huge company and all, but even still, nobody who doesnt care about something/worried about something just spends millions on it....justsaying

it pretty much is over...well atleast the og crackers/coders etc...now you just got a couple of unknowns that are trying to see what was done by the og and piggyback on j.b. for the new phones/tablets etc... and so far not so good. Apple will still sell tho, but i do think it will hurt them...and despite ppl thinking j.b. isnt that popular, its a reason why the older iphones/ipads are selling for double the price of a new one or a newer model....Especially if they havent updated the ios to 6 yet. Youd be lying to yourself if you think ppl just prefer the older ios and older models just because they dont like apple maps...My girl just made the switch from the iphone to the S3 and she loves it.

I just outta curiousity was on craigslist etc... and a 4s jailbroken or on the older firmware goes for in many cases TWICE as much as the ones updated to ios 6, and are going for more then the iphone 5. Hell thee iphone 5 is the same price as the iphone 4s...Seriously when was the last time apple made a product and the new version..Not even 6 months old goes for the same price as a year or so older model. Hell that didnt happen with the 4s to 4 and they were practically the same exact phone except a updated camera and siri being apart of the ios instead of a stand alone app.

The iPhone 5 starts at $199 whereas the iPhone 4S starts $99 and the iPhone 4 is now free.

I sold my 2+ year old iphone 4 on craigslist for $260 and i never used a case. Looked brand new.

Damn, I got my iPhone5 3 weeks ago and paid $199 w/ contract renewal. Did Best Buy have a deal or sale? I might be able to get a price adjustment if it is still going on.
But you don't need to buy every products though?
Do people really feel obligated to get the newest product from Apple all the time? That is the only reason I see this being such a big deal to people, I mean my iphone4 weren’t obsolete at all before I switched to the iPhone5 several weeks ago.

But I don't get the rush to have the latest technology....I'm STILL on my black macbook which is almost 5 yrs old and I haven't had so much as a scratch on it. Only reason I have to upgrade is because I want to, probably will this summer....I just look at the specs on the Iphone 5 and I knew it wouldn't be that much different from my 4s when it got IOS6...tried to tell my boy but he didn't wanna hear it. Same with the Ipad 3 then Ipad 4, theres not really a difference so if you had that I don't see why you'd be that mad, they didn't really upgrade it THAT much....Apple's not making anyone buy the newly updated products they put out, but if people will buy them in the millions regardless if its 6 months between then I can't eem blame them.

With the current set up, if the you're using headphones to listen to music on your iPhone while it's in your pocket, if you reach to take your phone out it will be upside down and require readjusting in your hand. If the jack were on the bottom end you would reach end the phone would already be in a natural position as you take it out.
