iPhone 5S drops this June

I still don't believe that it's releasing in June..
That's because it won't. August at the earliest (and I think most likely). It won't release before WWDC. They aren't going to rollout the 5S when iOS7 isn't done yet.

5S in August or early September so that the supply chain is running at max capacity by time November comes around.

I just don't see how ppl can buy a new phone w/ the same OS year after year and not get tired of it but I guess to each his/her own
Don't act like other phone os's have drastic changes every year. They also have minor tweaks unless they want to add major new features. What's not to understand why people like certain os's? They like what they like using. I took a break from iOS for a few years but came back because they usually get the best apps first with the best versions. My N7 tablet doesn't have the Optimum app available and the hboGO app doesn't even work anymore.

Steve Jobs would have looked at the iPhone 5 and said "This is s***." Let's hope the 5s is a lot better.

so the iphone 5 just came out & apple is already screwing people over by dropping the iPhone 5S so soon but it is pretty nice...so Apple is on a 6 month update cycle now. So Should we be use to the back to back updates/ new releases by now? What do you feel about it?

They've been on this 6 month cycle and it was pretty much known by everyone that there would be a 5s in 2013.

Apple isn't screwing anyone.

Yeah apple is not screwing anyone. Apple isn't forcing people to buy the latest phone every year.

It's crazy how that these "latest" features that come out with every new iPhone have been around for years and years. Imagine what's currently being developed now.

APPLE 'TO LAUNCH FIVE NEW PRODUCTS THIS YEAR'
Apple will launch five new products in the next 12 months, including its highly anticipated TV set, two leading analysts claimed today.
Analysts Gene Munster and Douglas Clinton of Piper Jaffray say the firm will launch a plethora of new products in a bid to keep its position as the world's biggest company.
However, the analysts say the new gadgets could be just the beginning of a major change in Apple's products in 2014.
The pair told Fortune magazine 2013 'will set the stage for bigger changes in the product lineup in 2014 and beyond.'
Apple is believed to develop products several years in advance, with its design team, led by British-born Sir Jonathan Ive, producing hundreds of prototype products each year.

Yeah, like Apple is the only company that develops products years in advance.

Fact is that Steve Jobs took bits and pieces of everyone elses product and made them better than they ever could. He isn't around anymore. Apple hasn't made headways with anything since his death.

fanboys are still going to line up and buy a ton of these and make Apple a lot of money anyways . . .

My roommate is an Apple fanboy and listening to him justify his purchases of the 4, 4S, and 5 (and eventually the 5S) is hilarious. He was making the camera megapixel argument to me and I was like ". . . "

Yeah apple is not screwing anyone. Apple isn't forcing people to buy the latest phone every year.
Apple screwed everyone who got the first round of 3rd gen iPads.  They released a newer 3rd gen with faster processor, lightning connector, and better chip a few months later

Why are people mad?

A new Droid phone drops like very month!
But those are just "sub" Android phones. The Galaxy is by far the Flagship Android phone and that drops once a year like the iPhone.

People are made because they take the same phone as the previous year, add a faster processor and call it a new phone. I'm an Apple Fanboy but I recently switched to the 4S. I'm not going back to iPhone until they get their ish together.

the 4 is still

never got any of the S series phones. Will probably get the 6 when it drops though lol. Its like a little treat to spoil my wife and myself every other year.

^ exactly. Apple refreshes their entire product line ONCE a year unlike HP/Dell/Toshiba/Acer that make multiple lines of desktops & laptops every financial quarter of the year :{

not to mention they hold their aftermarket value better than ANY other computer. had a Macbook ($1300) for 2 years, upgraded the ram + HDD, & sold it for $1000 on Craigslist. music/movie/art students will jump on a good condition used Macbook like white on rice. ALL DAY LONG

that dont mean they're superior products.

i got a decade old dell still rocking out.

bruh...

that dont mean they're superior products.

cool story bro. nobody's gonna pay you a stack for it tho & your 10-year old Dell can't run the newest version of Photoshop CS/Crysis 2 or anything else that requires a NEW dual/quad-core processor because whatever old 1 is in your desktop is welded to the motherboard :{
