Looks like that location knows you're trying to hustle them. Normally they give you all the sauces you ask for.

Yeah its not true that you can ask for anything but this sounds like something another chick fil a would do easily.

Just got out of work 2 hours ago. Drank some beers, assembled a new office chair, , and just DoorDash'd some Chick-fil-A.

In the interest of curiosity I decided to get a Spicy Deluxe given how outspoken I've been against cheese/lettuce/tomato on CFA sandwiches.

I was almost hoping that I would stand corrected, but no. None of these ingredients did anything to make the sandwich better. The cheese added a smooth element that did nothing to highlight the flavor of the chicken (if anything it dulled it without adding any balance [acidity, herbaceousness, "brightness", etc]), lettuce added an unnecessary "greenness" that only took away from the original experience, and what the hell is a tomato supposed to do to help a spicy chicken breast?

The classics are classics for a reason.
