the talent level in the NBA is better than it's ever been, and if you disagree you're just one of those dudes living in the past.
More good players in the league equals more good teams overall and with these new CBAs and what not it's tougher to build these super teams like the lakers and celtics had back in the day.
when is the last time you saw the whole western conference get 50 wins each like we did a few years a go?

The Eastern Conference is not wide open. The Heat or Knicks will come out the east for years to come (sorry bulls fans). The Big 3 have 4 years remaining after this one ends, you figure at least they play in 2 more finals after this year and split that's 4 finals appearances and 2 rings. The east will become wide open on the downside of LBJ's career. I see Lebron and Wade winning atleast 3-4 titles before Wade retires. Once he retires Lebron will still have another 3 year window to win atleast 1 more between the age of 34-36. The West will be a lot tougher to get through. You got OKC who will be together for another decade, the Clips are coming, you know the league will make sure the Lakers are competitive, Memphis is tough, Dallas may add D.Will or D-12 this off-season. I wouldn't pencil in KD for all those titles just yet.
To me, quality is always better than quantity. If KD wins a bunch of rings but does so and the end of Lebron's career, how would view him as a player? I don't want to see KD will some titles when LBJ is out of his prime. Hopefully over the next 4-5 years the Heat Thunder will play in a couple of finals. After KD, I don't see a player in this league comparable to his talent and he only 23.
