Production wise he showed out more than he did lyrically.

this is exactly how i feel and that is why i would give the album a 7/10. I was expecting him to have a least a couple songs that were lyrically on the same level as can i live. That was my only let down and it is still good music and i feel like his production skills got alot better
I can't even name a better verse on the album than his verse from 'Beautiful Bliss'. Yes, there are realer, more meaningful ones, but I didn't go

From Lost Ones to the end of the album is Perfect to me! Whole album is appreciated though just wish he added something to Lights Please. Never Told is actually one of my favorites

No one's feeling Nice Watch? That beat was in my head all day. Had me tapping my pen in my cubicle.

I have no self control.....listening now.....I am buying 3 copies just to support dude...."1 for the crib, 1 for the whip, and 1 for the plastic, cause it might be a classic"

Album was to impressive, Cole definately did his thing. Basically every song is on point to me except Mr Nice Watch

I hadnt heard the final version of Lost One's til right now and on my first listen I really feel like I like the original/unfinished better because more emotion comes through his voice without the extra violins and whatever added. Just my 2 cents but thats how far I am into the album only song I have skipped is In The Morning for obvious reasons but I'm really liking it so far.
Edit -- My real nice headphones, not some Beats by Dre !@+ just keep getting louder as the album goes.....

Listened to the intro, and when Dollar and a Dream III came on, I was blown away! That introduction to the beat is epic status! Everytime I replay the album, I get stuck on the beat alone on DD3 atleast 2 more times.

I held out listening to this album the whole time, the only material I heard early off this was Lights Please, In the Morning because, well, how could you avoid those 1-2 years ago? And I heard the beginning of Work Out by accident at work when this girl I work with played her iPod on shuffle. When I heard the beat, I said, wow this sounds like a new song, then I heard Cole's voice and yelled "HELL NO", ran to the back and ripped the iPod of the player.

This is a great album

great album...really happy the label didn't influence to much commercial stuff, seems like they let him run with it...I was a little worried originally when hearing Who Dat, Work Out and some of the other leaked stuff that didn't sound as good to me compared to his mixtape stuff...but this delivered...only songs i'm not really big on is Nothing Lasts Forever and Mr Nice Watch and there not bad by any means either...Rise & Shine reminds me of some 2001 R.O.C song Jay, Freeway and Beans woulda been on.  The sequence is really good too, hopefully he can do at least 70,000 first week, but i'm a bit skeptical on that since the singles haven't really done well, he hasn't released Any Given Sunday the past 2 weeks and I haven't seen any promotion for the album at all besides Twitter for the most part.

Word. The unfinished was a raw and heartfelt . The final is doin too much, the violins and extra production kinda draw you off of the lyrics/ competing with his verse

i can see him doing around 110k, but I have a feeling its probably gonna be around 60-75k

Never Told is dope. That's been gettin the most replay from me so far. That second half of the album is serious

Yeah same here only skippable track for me. Not sure if that song will grow on me because of the beat.  Its like what Justify My Thug is to the Black Album.
