I just want to make sure I have this straight. You buy most of your shoes because they’re exclusive and hard to get. Is that correct? If so, great.
Some people buy the shoes we like for our own reasons and aren’t concerned with demand or popularity let alone money value. And we never were. It’s the difference between liking shoes because of an attachment to the times they released/players who wore them/etc., and liking them for some other sort of statement some people think they are making by wearing them because they’re hard to get or “expensive.” Cool.
I’m just lost at this point about what your point even is regarding bricks vs non-bricks, unless the discussion is specifically about resale values as the main point.
Very sensitive folk who are very averse to the idea of exclusive sneakers, are getting triggered by this term. That’s what all this is about lol. It’s ridiculous. Such is the state of NT these days

What Neo is trying to express is that shoe culture, is about having that rare expensive shoe that no one else has. And that is what JB should be doing with their releases. While most will disagree with that. Because that is not shoe culture. In the meantime he takes every post coming his way, and chooses your words and twists them making it about "Bricks" and "Retail or Bust" boys. There’s plenty of discussions and fried dudes to avoid here
But I don’t think there’s much discussion to have with someone who has simplified the discussion here to whether you’ll be able to pay retail or how much resale should be. That’s textbook chud who can’t think beyond his own feet.
