Not to compare them to the 11 but, that mudguard on this shoe being that low may be a problem. I have never had these. The patent leather feature will possibly make these less forgiving being that low in comparison to the original. A part of me wants these a lot. But mostly wants the mudguard higher by the time the Charcoal releases. They listened on the 11, its time to listen on the 9 as well. Make the Jumpman bigger also lol.

9’s really are the most butchered model right now. Even with the recent improvements shoe still has a LONG ways to go. Even the 5’s and 12’s aren’t as bad though those need a lot of work too.
Nah 12s and 13s are at the top of this list. JB needs to address them ASAP

If JB reduces the halogram to half its size from its original, the world would go off. Thats what they did to the 9 heel. Yeah the 9 is priority.

I thought people here knew better than to judge before the official pics. I'm in for these but holding any critiques until I see the real deal and not a mock up or the fugazi edition.

I think the 13’s are about there if the playoffs last year are anything to go by.
12’s need work still but like

said there are just too many things on the 9 that are still off. Boot toe, mudguard height, shape, and ofc the jumpman size. Plus the inner bootie.

My last pair just crumbled too. These don’t look as good as the previous iteration but the CG9 is In my personal top 5 so they will be had

I respectfully strongly disagree lol. The second best cool grey colorway of any Jordan model IMO behind the 11s. And MJ wearing them was a plus

The tongues were always my favorite little detail on the 2002 pairs. Same thing with the French blue 7s, they made the 2015 retro have the neoprene and imo the appeal of the 02 was how special the tongue seemed.

I loved the 2002's back in high school. Wore 'em to death. The low cut on these new ones looks way off. I'm good.
The OG's always had a certain pop to 'em. Everything was done right. These are my fav 9's.
