In my view, OG colorways will always be what dropped during the original run. Shoes like these and Space Jams (Royal), I refer to as vintage colorways because so much time has passed since they initially released.

Agree with this 1,000,000%, OG refers to the original production run only in my mind.

If memory serves, I think the Laney 5 was one of the first releases to have retro plus on the actual box label.

Pretty much anything in a cool gray is in a category of its own, one of the greatest colorways to ever be created in my opinion.

Even if they don’t separate I feel like most people could use a fresh pair if they like the shoe, even the 2012’s. The oxidation takes its toll on these.

What I hate about the cool grey 9's and 11's is the patent leather ages it starts yellowing over time and it looks horrible.

Mesh tongue?

That Pl mudguard height is horrendous

Hard to find this retro acceptable. This is just a replication of the 2012 pair. The shades are all off still, mud guard height is way too low. Has a banana shape. They put a mesh tongue instead of the OG Suede / nubuck tongue.

The grey shade of the outsole looks too light. Should be darker.
