In my view, OG colorways will always be what dropped during the original run. Shoes like these and Space Jams (Royal), I refer to as vintage colorways because so much time has passed since they initially released.

Agree with this 1,000,000%, OG refers to the original production run only in my mind.

If memory serves, I think the Laney 5 was one of the first releases to have retro plus on the actual box label.

Even if they don’t separate I feel like most people could use a fresh pair if they like the shoe, even the 2012’s. The oxidation takes its toll on these.
