You know what, I actually haven't spent a ton of time playing in this shoe, but it's interesting that you bring this up.
Hi Everyone,
I got a pair of the Bel-Air CP3.VII's about three months ago and have been experiencing foot pains around the ball of my foot when playing. At times I can feel some responsiveness from the zoom bag, but for the most the shoe starts digging into my foot when i play. The fit is good, with barely any dead space, and from my feel the zoom units and intact. Has anyone else experienced similar pains with the shoe? I would love to be able to resolve this issue.
Yeah I have been playing in my pair for 2 months straight playing nearly 2-4 times every week for 2-3 hours each session. I would like to think that they have been broken in, but maybe it takes a little more time. I usually double sock to provide a lot more cushioning, but i feel that the edges of the large hexagonal zoom bag are preventing my foot from getting to the cushion of the shoe.

I notice that there is a little bit of pain in that area too. It's almost like the edges of the zoom bag are too stiff hard on your foot somehow. Or maybe it just presses into your foot more compared to the podulite sections. I can't exactly pinpoint what it is but I'll give mine another shot soon and let you know what I think.
Have you been playing in them quite a bit? Do you think they need even more of a break in?
It's tough to say. I'd say you've put plenty of time in where they should be broken in. It's gotta be more with the edges of the bag or the balance between the bag and the podulite. Hmm... I'd really have to log some more time in mine to make a good assessment.
