I'm a bit confused. You want retailers to sell shoes in stores while designating a certain percentage to be sold online?

Isn't that what retailers already do?

and not the type of volume to offset this madness

the percentage of shoes nike clears to be sold online clearly needs to be raised significantly

THAT and preordering would greatly reduce the mad dash

Nike could change the game tomorrow by releasing a 3d printer and charging folks to buy the printer and software for whichever sneakers available, label them as for casual wear only, and then sell performance editions of select kicks in stores. But that hasn't occurred yet...

It would be totally impossible for JB/Nike to produce enough supply for the demand for XI's. Even the prices raising doesn't change thing.

The problem is that too many of these stores are still doing FCFS. Most smart stores and chains got away from that and do raffles and drafts.

How would it be "Impossible" for a billion dollar company to make more products of an item that cost a few dollars to make also knowing that you are guaranteed your return?

Nike/JB keeps this going because higher resale values, all these fight videos, all this media attention is nothing but free promo for their shoes. It knotches them into a higher echelon in the sneaker culture especially one that has went from strictly athletic shoes to kids now incorporating High end designer kicks.

To put that in perspective jordan XI's resell price is on point with some Gucci, Lanvin. Prada, Y-3 etc etc brands despite having NO WHERE near the quality or detail of the formerly named products.

dude is smart enough and im sure him and his legal team knew exactly what they were getting into before they agreed to have nike manufacture and sell his shoes. He can say whatever he wants now but the fact is he had a choice to go through with the deal or not if he didnt like the terms.
