Jordan Gamma Blue 11's Came Out This Weekend; Chaos Ensued (multiple vids)

If you are talking about woman that only ambition is to mate with dudes that are drug dealers, thugs, hustlers and just love a good shoe game all while have 3/4 kids with different father and the system being their only form of a job. Then yes ....

But even those aren't talking about you have the new gammas lets **** - its more like he's wearing nice kicks/clothes - lets **** - or wow look at him on the corner making money - lets **** ..... yeah

I mean end of the day money/monetary valued objects = women... Its just at what level you are at attract certain women. Aka the caliber of women you attract buying a drink at the bar is different then the caliber women you attract if you own the BAR. Same way youll attracted one type of woman in skinny jeans some retro j's and those skirt looking tops dudes be wearing. Youll attract another type in some cole haan, allen Edwards dress shoes/boots and a tailored suit.

So yes dudes gets p based on streetgear aka j's etc... But in more cases then not isn't gonna be a woman of quality. Same way the quality of women u potentially would attract dressing in a more contemporary/corporate manner aka dressing better...lol

i agree.

i DONT agree with the welfare part,
but i have to admit this is more of a black female or at the least an urban female thing.

ive noticed over the years that women of other races arent paying attention to a guys shoes
whereas, ive personally heard loads of black females dismiss a guy because "his shoes are dirty/ugly"

ive actually heard numerous times "ew, girl, NO!, look at his shoes!"

but of course you're going to have clowns in here taking it to the extreme, with the claims of that no woman would approach a guy on some "yo Pa' them jays are fresh, let's talk"

they dont pay attention to shoes like THAT. they know enough to know what looks good and what dont, and thats it.

its very similar to cars
some women will throw it at you based off the car you drive
This I have heard many of times, but it's not because they have the latest jordan - simply put - if you are dressing nice but your shoes are cooked - there's more to that guy that meets the eye.

exactly its more likely that the dude wearing truckfit some xmas lebrons a snapback and a tskirt will attract the baby mamma at the club then he would the fortune 50 corporate working girl with a mba etc... at the club who is unwinding have a relax chill night with g/f's.. we can pretend and dance around the elephant in the room and ignore stereotypes etc... play the political correct game... But lets be real... you are more incline to get/impress bonquisha rocking retros then stacy who is the head of pr at XYZ inc...

mostly true,
im married to a pharmaceutical professional and i work for the Federal Government. it get no more professional than that and ive personally heard/seen females within these industries with these same viewpoints.

i wouldnt go as far to call it common
but i wouldnt call it rare either

at the end of the day its people
we're all people

females attraction to a guy (or non attraction) based off his shoes is no more limited to a race, demographic, or culture than cars is

but hey
feel free to keep up the ignorant stereotypes of Sharkiesha and the like if it makes you feel better.

i dont agree

both men and women's attraction to shoes is directly based on culture, if you went to highschool somewhere where there was crazy hype every time a new jordan shoe came out then even if you're not really into shoes you still begin to form a connection between having fresh nikes and social status/"being cool"

if you went to a school where no one cares about shoes then you could walk in with the greatest jordans ever and people wouldnt think twice about it

of course in most cultures having hobo shoes is a turnoff, but in most places having clean wearable shoes is not that much different than having the freshest jays from an attractiveness standpoint

I've fixed your typo's.
:rollin

But about the pulling yambs with kicks... Nooooo.... You can't but...

To some, kicks bring confidence... And there's nothing wrong with cats using a little material things to get a slight confidence boost.

Happens all the time when cats walk out the barber shop.

And trust.. there are many a black women that will side step you because your shoes are busted.

Jays, loafers, casual, whatever... It's best to make sure your appearance game is on deck.

then how do you explain the sneakerhead that grew up in a farming community
where **** kickers, and boots is the norm.
but there always existed an affection for sports and/or basketball within them?

growing up watching say MJ on TV and yearning to have a pair of his shoes?

you do realize we have many of those types right here on NT right?

many who
always gravitated towards new sports shoes even at the expense of their peers looking at them funny because it was abnormal in their area.

yeah, thats pretty much me

i mean sneakerheads can come from anywhere but in a culture very few sneakerheads the nonsneakerheads wont care about shoes. like in highschool i was pretty much the only sneakerhead at my school, wore foams to school got a few "those are weird shoes" but nothing more. wear jordans to school no one gives them a second look, but i didnt mind since i wasnt wearing them to impress others or anything.

its like if sneakerculture is big in your school then non sneakerheads will over hear people talking about the upcoming spacejam release and while they wont go out and try to buy a pair themselves, they will see someone wearing spacejams the next monday and think "oh hey those are those new jordans everyone is talking about" while in a place without a strong sneakerculture they wouldnt even notice

I mean I could throw stats etc...that would lead to this being a majority being true. but then that would be considered non factual. I mean my point is proven in the video and thread alone....Out of that video lets be honest how many post secondary educated, self employed (legally) highly productive ppl were out there linning up argueing and fighting over shoes? No it doesn't make me feel better or worse not even sure what that even means. But there is a reason why in most vast majority minority (in particular blacks) there are 20 shoe/clothing stores within a 15 mile radius. Its a reason why a place like westend or bankhead has 10-15 shoe stores, multiple Korean ran weave shops, baby clothing stores, a liquor store/check cashier/fake id/tattoo shops on every other block, fast food in particular chicken spots 2/3 to a street and not a whole foods/aldis world market.

If you haven't noticed this you are either very niave or playing the politically correct game. Its the reason why these shoes sellout in minutes in certain areas, with certain demographics and levels of education, and social status...and why they last a few days/weeks or end up going on clearance in others.

It is having the blind eye to actually believe... Katie from middle of nowhere north Dakota would have the same love admiration and judge be attracted to a guy in space jams... then darkisha from dade county Miami who has 7 tats 3 kids, pushing a dunk. To say oh it could be fairly likely or chances would be close is outright foolish.

To suggest the outcome and likelihood of a guy with golds etc... driving a 442 on 32's would get equally the same type of woman in terms of race, social status, economic status etc as the guy driving a audi stepping out of jp morgan is ridiculous..

....so 'mostly true' isnt the same as 'majority being true' to you?

nice.

good day sir.

....so 'mostly true' isnt the same as 'majority being true' to you?

um mostly and majority are almost one of the same aka if I make majority/most of my free throws... that would mean more often then not I make free throws... and as I said you gave some longshot hail mary example of your wife old lady etc... whatever the case maybe... End of the day if a women is jocking you feet and impressed and in awe over xmas lebrons gamma ray jordans and digs you for it... chances are one they will be a minority (in most cases black) sex male/female could go either way, and will in all likelihood fit a certain stereotype, personality, income/social status... No I cant give you a exact number down to percentages or exact figures...but just life going out and having common sense goes a long way.

Aka I don't need exact percentages numbers or figures to know that if im walking down rodeo drive as oppose to Robert taylor homes southside chitown which place would most/majority be a place I would get notice and/or possibly robbed wearing gamma XI's... It isn't racist/ignorant or w.e. pr cant we all just get along term/take you wanna use. to say most likely/majority chances if I was robbed of the shoes it would be a young/middle aged black male.

Somethings in life is just common sense and stereotypically yes but have some truth to them... I get it intitially most ppl use these stereotypes and what not to past judgement to elevate themselves their respective race... or belittle or discredit discriminate against others but this isn't the case in my book.

Whether you wanna have the blind eye, be oblivious and act like we live in this we are the world, we are the children false utopian world. Fact still remains... you step out wearing some quickstrikes... retros etc.. and you get looks and draw attention aka attraction to you it will be a minority person, in most parts black and will be of a certain status, education level, economic level etc..

You can have clean, nice shoes and for women to compliment you, they don't have to be the latest hyped out shoe, because to a normal woman there really is no much difference between a pair of yeezys and a pair of nice keds, they would prolly be more attracted to a well kept pair of keds :lol

Women of all races pay attention to a well-dressed man's shoes...

...and a shortie on her A-game knows a pair of Louboutin's from a pair of Keds.

If a female finds you unattractive shoes aren't going to help.

Females often say one thing and do another.

A female isn't dating a dude solely off his shoes.

Environment might only matter in what she considers a well dressed man. And that goes for all races.

exactly and that "environment" aka social status/education level/race.... would differ in most parts and there is a overall more likelihood based on race etc...

No it wouldn't be solely just on a pair of shoes.... but it would be moreso what the shoe or shoes represent...aka she may see him with a lot of retros etc.. and think wow he got money he ballin etc... Because that is the highest level of financial/economic success they have ever seen...or that they associated costly sneakers, flashy cars chains etc to success.

Same as someone else may see a guy who dresses in ferragamos, cole haans etc... and see that and be attracted to that and the custom tailored suits etc.. and that whole look persona associated with the clothes and shoes would likely attract a certain women of a particular "environment"...social status/education level/race.

I doubt a chick would just see a guy with fly kicks and just drop draws just cause... But there are some chicks who will see them shoes/clothes and will atleast show interest/give play because of it

another article and they starting to blame MJ himself for the violence, MJ suggest online release only for AJ 11
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/score-airness-stop-violence-article-1.1560400

First of all.. MJ didnt say anything on the matter.

Secondly, releasing them exclusively online will only lead to harder attainability, more desirability and more problems in the longrun. Contrary to what many people may believe, there is still a digital divide in much of the US and not everyone has ready internet access. Making them exclusive to those with web access will likely lead to well to do re-sellers buying up massive amounts of stock and leaving even more people craving the shoes they could not get their hands on. I see how this would cut down on release day violence but in the long run I feel like this method would make the shoes seem even more exclusive and unattainable to many people causing more people getting robbed and potentially killed for their shoes after the fact.

I said it before, but I think the best solution is to reinstate the pre order system and allow people to fill out their pre orders in store. This would also ensure the revenue from each pair sold gets accredited to individual franchise stores/accounts as opposed to all going to NDC, Eastbay etc.
